  1. I'll be moving these twigs tomorrow. A fair jaunt to the roadside but instead of dreading it, I'll have brew on, turn the heater & heated seat on and crack on! Took the crown away in dumpy bags Saturday morning, bit of a tight squeeze through the gate, but power, agility and lightness of foot on wet ground meant the site didn't get cut up. 👍🏻
  2. There are any number of alternative sources if that particular one upsets your sensitivities....
  3. Of an 84.59% turnout, he'd be about 44.7% accurate no? What we don't know is how many of the 44.7% based their vote on sound economic, social and political reasoning and how many were driven by emotion.
  4. I have been sensing a certain "coolness" of late Mr E! Have I incurred your displeasure over the 🔥 + liberals gag a while back....? It was entirely in jest and, in hindsight, I can appreciate it didn't add any value other than I thought it was funny. Thinking of joining the canvassing team in Stoke soon, fancy a beer and pass out some UKIP flyers??
  5. Perhaps due to his having far greater capacity, ability (and spare time to "think") and a natural disposition towards framing his question rather more tactfully than I did, the former Archbishop of Canterbury blasts ‘hysterical overreaction’ by critics of new President: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4192438/Former-Archbishop-Canterbury-blasts-Trump-protesters.html And, just like the former Archbishop, I too would be "happy to attend a state banquet", in my case, either with or without the Don. Free feed, what's not to like!!
  6. There are some glaring "own goals" in the videos: Ladders / pipe racks left on top - if you can't be bothered ton take the ladders off, it's likely you can't be bothered ton take the tools out. Front gates left open so they can see and walk straight in. Not excusing the thieving maggots, but getting yourself into a less "attractive" situation for the scum has to be a good starting point. I remember seeing a couple of South African enhancements that were designed to deter car jackers: There was another one where a big sing blade sweeps out from under the car and chops the legs off but can't find that one....
  7. I cut logs Mr Eggs! I'm not sure I'm qualified to judge. He comes across as a bit odd at times but that could be on account of his being American?
  8. DVSA have a "newsletter" type email thing you can sign up to. Mostly quite dull but sometimes useful. Oddly, I received a letter from Toyota today about a recall for front bumper energy absorber defect on 16 Hilux. Not on DVSA web page yet but I'm going to run for the other vehicles through it now for a check too.
  9. Priorities? How many days in office Trump v Obama? Are you SERIOUSLY suggesting Trump might solve a problem in DAYS which Obama failed to remedy in YEARS? Is that a sound basis of criticism for Trump? I think even I could find something more compelling...... 😳

  11. Shaky stuff, but the score is what's most important! 🍻
  12. I think he's taking a "different" approach to how he conducts his business to that which "the swamp" has become accustomed to and it's unsettling a large proportion of the establishment. With the exception of the apparent anti abortion stance, I'm not seeing anything that troubles me overly. Quite the opposite. Early days yet of course. Should there be an "incident" subsequent to this ruling, that judge is going to be hung out to dry! I imagine the Don would be a spiteful bar steward if giving the opportunity!
  13. If he does, I'd concede he may not have the full picnic! I think he's done what he set out to do which is to remind the world that travel to the US is NOT a right but rather a privilege to be granted after due consideration. Job done, marker fully deployed.
  14. This is useful: DVSA is urging drivers to check that their vehicles, parts or accessories aren’t subject to a safety recall. New figures show that 2.6 million vehicles were affected by a recall between April 2015 to March 2016. https://www.gov.uk/check-if-a-vehicle-has-been-recalled
  15. Open question.... Assuming there is a finite amount of moral indignation available at any one time, where is it expressed to best effect? (a) Trump talks about grabbing some ass in locker room banter, or (b) Systemic, state sponsored, supported and facilitated medieval barbarity? Don't watch the video link if easily offended (or sensitive to the fact that there just might be more worthy causes to direct your enegies into.) https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=b89_1421360015
  16. It's an interesting proposition, and I can see the logic of your point despite the obvious constitutional differences. How do you think that would have worked out for Brexit? Same or different?
  17. We (in England, Wales & the N of Ireland) should have had the vote last time!
  18. It's a really good question! The SNP don't like the UK wide Brexit outcome because Scotland as a whole voted remain. But what precedent does that set? What happens when Edinburgh or the Islands, as constituent parts of Scotland, don't accept a possible Scotland wide separation outcome from ANOTHER indyref? Just following Crankie's logic, they'd be entitled to separate from Scotland no?
  19. Now come on, that's the Brexit vote not Trump... 😄
