  5. I was planning on putting the canvas seen on the roof and remove the tarp. Hopefully I'll leave the sides with gaps to keep the air flow. Not sure I want it to be completely full as I want to organise one side for log burners one side for open fires. So hopefully that'll solve the mould issue. Sent from my MB525 using Tapatalk 2
  6. I have have regular mowing contratcs and most are on a 2 weekly schedule. once you know how long it takes work out a fair hourly rate add a bit more for the occasional cock ups. Definately push for composting on site. Good luck

  9. nice work. Im planning on getting a canvas tent from armt surplus for the roof so i can pull tight to reduce dripping.

  15. Pallets and my ankles are good friends. The unchopped wood is there. Dont have a building in my yard so palletts are the free alternative!
  16. Here's the plan: Build a storage space for drying my split logs. I have access to loads of pallets for free. Anyone had any experience of pallet based construction? I thought I'd strengthen it at the corners with 4*4. Id like it to store 4m3 at least. Sent from my MB525 using Tapatalk 2

  19. I started out with a golf mark and 2 builders bags. Became my own chipper with a pair of secateurs! I could get 1 1/2 bags in the back and off to the tip for me. Car cost e £50 btw! Sent from my MB525 using Tapatalk

  22. I agree. My truck says: name, numbers, tree surgery, fencing, garden service. Website on side of truck. Just simplified advert from loads of words to basic contact info and then: trees hedges fences logs. That's all client needs to know. Sent from my MB525 using Tapatalk

    2 boys: kip and fabian (fab) Kip is old eng for pointed hill- we can see chanctonbury ring from our house, though he slept really bad for years. Fab means bean grower (wife called bean) and also means gradual non revolutionary change to socialism! sent from my Defy so apologies for poor spelling and grammar
