If you are ever in sussex, go visit Kingley Vale near Chicester. Yew forrest. Its amazing. Loads of ancient Yews in a mixed woodland and another section on the downs of just Yew woodlands. Its an amazing place: Natural England - Kingley Vale NNR

How hot does a woodchip pile get and what can you cook in it? Apart from heating water/cooking something slowly, is there a way of converting the energy in a woodchip pile into anything?
