  4. It'll stop the water getting into the wood though. As long as it's above soil level surely it lasts longer?
  5. Hear hear! The weak point is the bit in the ground. So if its c.ementrd in it would last longer. Thick chestnut posts should be pretty goid though. Smart phone spelling! Apologies
  6. Hornbeam should be pretty long lasting pretty tough stuff. Are you setting the posts with cement?

  9. Got a shed load of chippings and wouldn't mind shifting them to free up some space in the yard. Biomass looks an option. Need to find any companies who'll come and take it away for reasonable rates in the SE of england. Haven't got a loader but could borrow one if they don't have loader. Any contacts? Cheers
  10. I wear these: Safe-Eyes | No Misting, No Scratching, Un-fog-able Eye Protection In the summer i just wear sun glasses, cheapos from the supermarkets, cos most safetys scratch or mist up. The mesh ones work a treat and keep most bits of dust out

  12. Hi, i just use twitter for uploading pictures and daily updates. Very few clients of mine use twitter so it's more for me and my ego than advertising!
