  1. Hi all Can anyone recommend a good place to find a independent sales rep for forestry machinery? Ive thought about placing ads in magazines but thought there may be an online way of advertising. Thanks Mark
  2. Hi all Was wondering how many guys/businesses use twitter for marketing/promotion of their businesses and what successes they have had. Mark
  3. Hi We use 123reg, however for other businesses I'm involved in I use uk2.net and I have to say I prefer uk2 they are cheaper and their support is quicker Mark
  4. a trade association/organisation for forestry machinery manufacturers in the uk? is there one? Thanks Mark at Cundey
  5. ive heard the same, im sure once we have sold a few machines we will look to advertise mark
  6. i have experience of using for a manufacturing organisation providing flame cut steel profiles to a number of sectors/industries. since november 2009 we have spent around £800 and had around £137,000 in enquiries. it may not work for everyone but if it works in flame cutting it should do. the one thing i would say is dont go "bid crazy" and start offering more and more per click cos it will cost loads and loads. you need to concentrate on the quality of the ad and the page that the ad links to, this will bring down your cost per click. we havent started using it for Cundey Systems yet but its likely we will shortly because the return on investment is greater than the majority of advertising options. mark
  7. we are getting round to that. we had a bit of a rush to get stuff ready for the APF which got in the way of the website. im working on it this week and pictures will start appearing soon. Mark
  8. thanks for this, it will be really useful in promoting our new business.
