  2. i have the 560xp for about 2yrs now there where a few small teething problems but i wasnt very impressed with it on a .325 but changed it to 3/8 and what a difference in the 60cc class it will take some beating next week i will be getting the new lesser known Dolmar PS6100 STRATO 18'' 3/8 which has had good reveiws in the U.S.A so it would be interesting to compare these two once the dolmar has loosened up maybe a picture post in the future

  14. have you thought of doing some research and finding an oversize piston and going to town on one of the 9000's and making it into a young bull

  16. it sure is everything goes around the mulberry bush. up the hill and down tail but everybody gets there in the end and gives good answers all good fun :thumbup:
  17. i dont know its a big saw and they dont wear alot of clothes when using chainsaws
  18. have you looked at any of the old solos iam after two solo chainsaws the super rex and the 603 some of the big echo saws look a good investment that cs1201 that is still being sold in the south american countries looks a monster this saw in my avatar is a little rocket
  19. they made some great kit over the years all the old larger dolmars where torque monsters i got an old broken brake band from my 133 as a souvineir as it took me so long to find another one

  21. i know somebody iwho has four 166's and seven 152's & 153's and loads of parts and he would'nt sell a spare nut or bolt off these saws every other saw he will sell everything crazy :thumbup:

  23. i sold mine last year and wish i hadnt T.C.D on here calls the 166 ''the bull'' there are one or two about but most people wont sell cheers andrew
  24. i would say that the module number for that saw would be 024 143 020 various sites say this number for the earlier ones its a pain in the neck trying too find these parts mate
  25. hello here is a few part numbers for the dolmar model PS-9000 IN 1993 THEY USED PART NO 024 143 020 IN 1996 THEY USED PART NO 024 143 020 IN 1999 THEY USED 3 DIFFERENT PART NOS 024 143 020 & 024 143 050 & 024 143 100 IN 2000 THEY USED PART NO 024 143 051 WHICH IS THE MODIFIED 024 143 050 AND THIS WAS THE TIME THERE WAS A CHANGE OVER TO THE NEW MODEL 9010 now it looks like that makita used two modules 024 143 020 and 024 143 051 here is a link that should help you choose [http://www.manualslib.com makita dcs9000 ph specification page 3
