The 086 , 484 ,686 dolmar chains come in 050 058 and I think they are 20 LPX or 20 BPX .050 gauge The dolmar 084 is the 95VPX only available in 050 1.3 mm What you must remember is the following 20 BPX or LPX is 050 21 BPX or LPX is 058 22 BPX or LPX is 063 And for that saw you can get the 95 vpx 1.3 050 64DL Or you can as CJ says run stihl Rs chain which I have tried on that saw and it works ok

  10. Just been checking the clutch drum from a ps-5105 and it's the same measurements internal and external the legs are exactly the same depth so thankyou Saw Troll you where right everything is go now sprocket rim on the ps-420 now :thumbup:

  15. that looks good harvey in a couple of weeks you will be able too have a 6100 on demo and see if you like feel of the saw This is one I done two weeks ago for a carving customer
  16. Here is the IPL for frequently used parts and the clutch drum is a different part number owing too it being a spur sprocket but it has the same clutch as the 6100 and eight models share the same brake band Over the weekend I will test this clutch drum out and make sure it fits 100% :thumbup:

Iam in the process of sourcing rim sprockets for the dolmar chainsaws under 3kw of power most of them come with consumer spur sprockets The 420 falls in this category most of them come in 3/8 lo pro drive the problem is if you want a 1/4 you gotta buy another sprocket for carving So iam working on a rim sprocket clutch drum , i should have an answer in the next week

  24. I got a large roof that has to clad with cedar shingles 16" I was wondering if anyone has bought any recently and knew of a good supplier or maybe one of you good people made them As the last lot I purchased approx 8yrs ago from a big retailer the quality wasn't brilliant
