No there's no difference there made in the same factory same performance most times the makita comes in 18" 3/8 where as the Dolmar comes with 15" .325 The makita is more competitive price wise at the moment

You got several options that cylinder and piston was used on several models Dolmar and makita 430 520 4300 5200i 109 110 111 540 If you need a piston give me a shout happy to give you a price

Good thread Kevin funnily enough I had a letter from Jeep and the DVSA this week about my Jeep Grand Cherokee overland it has been recalled for number 14 on this list which is a safety module and new passenger airbag It's one of DVSA better ideas to make people aware and get these recalls sorted It's also worrying as there has been 3 pages of recalls on Jeep alone and most of them are quite serious
