  1. It's not a big job, but I had 1 in years ago and bypassed the water going through the cooler with abit off pipe, (hope there right) and it was he head gasket. I'm sure it's only two pipe that go too the cooler and it bolts too the block, tackle yourself good luck

  5. My tools run away got to keep my box locked and sometimes if I'm out the workshop and come back there's a queue of people "can I borrow" gets on my b**bs
  6. Wait till you have 1/4 of a tank and put a diesel fuel treatment in do a few miles and fill it up
  7. Had a few fuel tanks out that were caked it that jelly like stuff, don't like supermarket fuel either
  8. Good shout that stuff goes all gunky and gooey, but there's a wee tap at the bottom of the filter you open too drain it

  17. I've checked and checked the diagrams and I've got all the parts and on the correct way, that's why I was thinking the clutch was binding it up. Thanks again
  18. Still on my bench is this 026, Steve and Barrie suggested getting the proper parts (genuine 1s) putting it back together and turning the drive with a small screwdriver.... Done that and still tight, it turns but it's really tight, I'm near tears so am thinking its a duff clutch? Only other thing that's not genuine stihl? that's the side that goes agains the washer that says "TOP"
