  1. I have been looking for evidence that high octane fuels have less ethanol, but have been unable to find the data. Have you a link to the data that says V power Nitro has less ethanol? I will be pleased to see it if you have. Also remember that as it is 99octane you may get marginally less performance than using regular 95, but no harm will be done.

  10. Personally I don't think the CAB will be very interested as it seems to that neither Watchshop or Casio are at fault. It seems to be just unfortunate that not enough research was done and the wrong watch was purchased. A quick search on google reveals which phones can be linked. Application - Link with Smartphone - Collection - EDIFICE Mens Watches - CASIO I bought my wife a watch from Watchshop and their service was good. They tell you clearly that if the strap is the wrong size you can take it to a 'Goldsmiths' in the High Street and they will size it FOC, or get it done at Timpsons for £5 and Watchshop will refund your money. Can't be much fairer IMO. We got Lyn's done at Timpsons yesterday but can't be bothered to get the refund TBH. We are happy with our purchase, but they do offer an extended returns policy for Christmas gifts, why not give it a try? Returns Policy

  13. That, Mr Pike, just about sums it up. Well said.
  14. The thing is that all dealers do not follow the same business model and should not be compared. They have different size premises, deal in different brands, have different overheads and offer different service. Some cater more for domestic users whilst some prefer the commercial business. Some seek to take every deal going, wherever, and at whatever margin they can get, whilst others prefer to only deal locally whilst maintaining a higher profit margin and are more than happy to let the customer seeking the bottom price go elsewhere. If any of you feel that your particular local dealer is not for you, then fair enough, go elsewhere. You will both be happier without each other. But if you understand and respect each others needs, then good relationships can be forged. We are only a small family business and do very little business more than 10 miles from base. We keep our margins reasonably high, whilst offering average discounts where appropriate but are seldom knowingly the cheapest and will never any longer even attempt to price match the online sellers. (been there, it does not work) We know we are not every ones cup of tea, but we equally know we have an extremely loyal customer base that we have maintained for many years. Most class our products and our work as exceptional and are happy to give us their repeat business and recommend us to others. But I know we do not appeal to those who want to buy purely on price, and this suits us fine. Each to their own.
