  1. Its a " spud " ported saw ( before he retired ) but the muffler was made by a guy in the US who was able to weld stainless to mild steel . I have one on my 390 as well . In fact now I look at the photo I think that is the 390 but they share the same muffler .

    I can't remember which service it was but I had one where they sent a text saying your package has been delivered with a photo of someone receiving a package . It was not me , not my house and probably not my package but I will never know !
  4. I don't know for sure obliviously , just a guess , but it is used quite a lot on fruit trees .

    Try a new tank breather . Could be partially blocked . Might just be vaporization .

  8. Not worth debating . Either will do . . Having said that the 288 is very old school . There are 2 more generations of Husqvarna 90cc saws to go through . The 592 being the latest .
  9. I dunno if or what you are doing wrong but they do get much bigger .
  10. Some palms ( don't know if its this variety ) the sap , will attack the aluminum of a saws cases .

  12. You will have to change the worm wheel that drives the oil pump also .
  13. If you are knocking over large softwoods with chunky bark yes , I get it .
  14. It wont survive that . Especially in this heat .
  15. Yep we popped up to 28 this afternoon . Mind you I have just come from 35 degrees so seems fine to me .
