  1. A vote is a vote Innit ? whether its by a silver spoon or plastic spoon .
  2. No point in getting fuel fit if you are going to drain the saws ...
  3. The coating on the rubber is attacked by the solvents in pump fuel , ethanol etc etc . but the petrol itself keeps them supple until it finally desvolves them over time . Aspen and other alkylate fuels don't attack the rubber so if you use it from the get go , no problems .If you switch from pump fuel to alkylate there is a chance the rubber will harden and crack/crumble but that would have to have had a lot of pump fuel through it .
  4. So why exactly are going to put away grieving mothers and newly widowed wives ?
  5. He died last week . His furnace is next Monkey if you wanted to attend .
  6. What THINK would you choose Khriss ??
  7. I want something to go tits up now so you can test it all out . Can't wait ! ?
  8. Mine is the Nominally 5kw stove but when its on full chat I recon it must be punting out at least 8kw . The handles just need the wall plugs expanding a tad to make a more interference fit . Or a bit of Gorilla glue or similar . Also mine does not seem to need bone dry wood , ( obviously its desirable ) but 20% or so works fine . I do have a very good draw on the flue though .
  9. I would spend the day going round apologizing to all and sundry for the various mud slides , flooding , earthquakes , famines , droughts and diseases etc . Oh and Vesp . ?
  10. What are the requirements for eco design ?.... Just looked it up /. My Burley was advertised to run at 89% efficiency when I bought it 4 years ago .
  11. Burley Holleywell for me . Takes 12" logs by the way . Not had any problems . Soft wood goes out over night , hard wood leaves some nice embers to get going in the morning ,
  12. No matey , Many years ago ( when the first Bruce Lee film came out ! ) I trained Shotokan for a while but mostely B.J.A. Gave up Judo when it interfered with my squash playing . I think that is enough De Railing Paul's thread ! ....Sorry Paul .
  13. Joe Bonamassa ..." Self Inflicted Wounds " from his new album " Redemption " 'Kin outstanding ! ?
  14. I have a 2004 Husqvarna Spud ported 346 that will , I am sure , out last me ! ?
  15. Will be interested in the results/conclusions .
  16. Pretty much been a Husky man all my life with a few exceptions but , ( there is not a lot left of my life ! ) , I impressed with the reports of the 462 being so close to the 572 in performance but noticeably lighter . In my twilight years this could well be a factor ! Reliability is yet to be established with both saws so.... We shall see . ?
  17. I got confused in my old age . The particular bout I remembered was ...Kaoklai Kaennorsing ( Muay Thai ) v Mighty Mo ( kick boxing ) . Not sure how to put the link up but its on Youtube . Mo was poll axed !
  18. He used to be on TV a few years ago ( pre digital I think ) I saw him flatten " Mighty MO " the Samoan geezer who was famed for his over hand right . Buakaw dropped him with spinning round house kick on his noddle ! Felled him instantly . Strangely it was never recorded on Big Mo's record !
  19. I would have thought a man of your talents would sweep the chimney him self . Did mine today
