  2. Going back to my post ( 2nd post in ) have you put the 18" bar back on and checked to see if its oiling ok ? (Hold it close to a cut face and rev it should see a line of oil ) If it is then its the new / wrong / faulty / blocked or what ever bar .

Send it to Spud . Sorted .
  7. So Stihl changed the design because you , and only you had them fall off for fun Gary ? ..... I have no proof but I would take a punt that the bar stud thing has happened to others . You could say its world wide from UK to Aus ? ?

    Jokes???

I remember filling the points with a flat needle file .
  10. Put the 18" back on and see if it oils ok . If it does then maybe the oil holes in the Sugi bar are not in the right place IE wrong bar for saw . If it does not then the fault is with the oiler and not the bar .

    Saw upgrade

Yep . Once he gets it he will be sending them off to Spud ?
  12. Was talking to head forester and his son yesterday . They were out spotting for deer . Extra damage occurring due to the Dutch clients not being able to come over for stalking coz of C19 restrictions . Seems they are going to have to stock up on .308 ammo and do it themselves ...

    Saw upgrade

It can . remove transfer covers , grind off restricting fin in each cover , replace . = 372 for 365 money .

    Saw upgrade

So the MS 391 is about 65cc ? Do you want to replace it ? or keep it and get a bigger saw as well ? as above a 372xp is a cracking saw .
  16. Both " splash " lubrication so important to keep the oil level correct as you seem to be doing . I have a 390 on a splitter and it thinks its Peter Pan ! Edit . I think the earlier GX engines made in Japan were better than the Chinese made ones abeit still Honda .
  17. Had a Wave for years . Got pinched out of my truck by kids . I left it unlocked .
  18. Does it fire at all ? If not it may have sheared the flywheel key putting it out of time hence all the fuel ?
