  10. Can you still have a 5 shot auto on an FAC ( wild fowl only ) ?
  11. On my Burley there is only 1 air control ( well 2 if you count the door ) It is a slide that goes from left to right ( L being closed R being fully open ) . There are rows of small air holes down the 4 corners of the fire box ( all chasing each other in direction of the jets ) and a row of glass wash holes across the top just above the door . It is as simple as a simple thing and works perfectly . Light fire . Have the door open a crack and air slide fully open . This heats the flue . Close the door fully , air slide still fully open . When stove body is up to temp you want close air slide almost completely . Never fails .
  12. Well said ...Harry Callahan ? ?
  13. I think a lot of things changed after Micheal Ryan went bonkers in Hungerford in 1987 . I could be wrong but this lead to the withdrawal of any hand guns and auto rifles and I think the " crimping " of auto and pump shot guns so that you could only load with 3 shells instead of 5 .
  14. Some peps have . I think you will find opinion is divided .
  15. It was like swimming through treacle just now . seems to have sped up again .
  16. Sometimes referred to as " sectional felling " Sam so you weren't really wrong bud. ?
  17. There is shed loads of weight up there , If you make one part of the supporting weight less robust than the other part its going to squash down . Your best bet is to google " Soft Dutchman " on you tube .
  18. Still fecking about here as well .
