  1. Ah . Missed that . Sorry . then probably not so readily avaliable .
  2. Is the drum worn too thin allowing the springs to over extend to make the shoes bite ?
  3. Measure your glass dimensions and thickness and get one ( or two ) cut . There are people who will make ceramic stove glass to order for much less than that .
  4. I'm not 'avin that ! I never went near it .
  5. I renewed mine about 3 weeks ago but they would only give a one year license .
  6. I was born Januarry 1953 so next year I will be 70 . Does it all change then ?
  7. Pair of black birds have just started building in one of my sheds/log stores . There is a " fold up " ladder with an old billhook resting on the top . They have started building on top of the metal blade , perching on the handle before going on to the nest . I noticed them this morning and there was a few leave and bits of twig and this evening it looks like a proper nest . Almost complete . I suppose they roost nearby until its finished and the eggs are laid ?
  8. I think you were just a bit excited at the upturn in work and it being your own and it rushing in like no tomorrow . You will be fine . just " breath " 🙂👍
  9. Felled a couple of ashes that sorta size recently , Building work/dieback excuse and the timber inside looked pretty solid rather like yours . Its going to be milled for use in a new kitchen .
  10. Don't exist i know but hey 🙂
  11. On this one , my 560 no .
  12. On this one , my 395 yes .
  13. They are grazing off the stubble turnips round here just now .
  14. If you only put £20 in then you can only drive from pump 1 to pump 5 ..😀
  15. They are on " west Coast " soft wood big saws 90cc and upwards . Tree surgery , then ok , if you think it helps then yep , its you doing the work . forestry its a hindrance .
  16. Exactly . Add a couple of extra long bucking spikes/dawgs and make it totally useless but well pimped up . 😀
  17. I have heard some people stand the cut face down on a permanently damp surface .
  18. Andrew Shavey gets them sometimes . Waste of time on a small saw like a 562 IMHO . Mybe useful on your 660 if you don't want to walk round the other side . Got one on my 395XP but would not want on on a 562 . Just me .
  19. As Spud says there is an old Inca trick to tensioning . Get it approximately tensioned , do the bar nuts up by hand . Hold the saw by the back handle and drop the bar tip onto a log . This ensures the bar is pushed up as far as it will go . then adjust the final tensioning . If you do it with the bar tip down as soon as you lean on the saw in the cut the bar will move up fractionally , enough to slacken the chain . Forgive me if you already got this . It was just a thought .
  20. Bar and chain on .
