  2. I have a years experience in the industry full ppe/climbing kit/ground saw i have transport and a clean lisence willing to travel! hard working and punctual! referances available on request Thanks!
  3. if you enjoy it you wont have to think too much about what to do if that makes sence! boss will be able to see that and it shold be sweet!
  4. just to put it into perspective i have a years experience - cs30/31/38/39, can climb reasonably well - reasonable ident - own transport/saw/ppe/climbing kit... based in the southwest. The last company i did a bit of work for paid me £65 a day, interested as to what other people would pay ???
  5. sorry if it sounded unclear - £75 is the rate i charge, 5 is the average of how many days in the week i work.
  6. oh nice one! the only problem with me setting aside 20 percent of everything is that it doesnt actually leave me that much left over after budgeting for everything else
  7. forgot to add that im on average of 75£ a day, 5 days a week. about 16k a year i think !

Just in the process of setting up allowances for myself and putting a portion of earnings aside weekly for monthly bills so that my cash flow is a bit more predictable - boring stuff - was just wondering how much of your wage you all put aside for the tax man? ive gone in at 20% but have been told thats too much! sweet if it is, just going for other opinions? ta
  9. take the time to get all of the assessment schedule stuck in your head aswell, better to climb up the tree with a clear head instead of worrying about a question you forgot the answer to ... take your time !

  12. my advice to you would be to sell your mazda and get a mini bus, so you can fit loads of men in the back,
  13. i think dealers work within a profit margin where they can comfortably work the buyer? if they put the price on something knowing they can comfortably take £20 less (for example) they will because the buyer will purchase thinking theyve got them selves a nice deal, thats the way i see it anyhow. my dads a general builder and someone asked him halfway through a job if he did student discount... think he nearly got a trowel in the head haha
  14. hi mate , i spent nearly exactly 1k on ppe and climbing gear, think it was about 600 on the climbing gear : harness, rope, strop, prusic loops, 4 karabs, first aid, knife, and spikes! you could always borrow spikes for the time being and prolong spending 200 quid on them ??
