  1. The 10.8 has 3.21m reach/height.
  2. From what I understand, the torque divider is like a controllable, variable differential. From a 60/40 split on opposite sides to full locking diffs!!
  3. Hi... Seems you're at exactly the same point as me! I'm just getting prices in but I have a small tractor to PX. It will either be the 635 or the 7.3+ Re the Multione torque divider, give Steve Hadfield at Ranger Equipment a call.
  4. Interested in your thoughts on this one... it certainly looks a bit of a beast!! The new MultiOne flagship model, the 10.8. With 2700kgs lift capacity, Light enough to transport on a 3.5t plant trailer. Perhaps overkill for Arb work... I'm looking at the smaller 7.3+ model.
  5. Thanks for the tips and advice guys.... Much appreciated
  6. Can any of you guys recommend a good wood burner for a workshop please? Workshop dims are 10m x 6m x 4.5m high. Been considering the Oakfire 4 (as per pic) but not sure about the top filling? Thank in advance
  7. Spot on Paul.... Many thanks for the tip!
  8. Can anyone tell me please ... Options to mount a hydraulic post hole borer on the front loader of a Kubota 4240? Only one I've found so far is the Danuser / Opico Earth Drills Just trying to find out if there's anything else that can be front mounted? Thanks in advance
  9. Please explain.... interested to hear why you feel this way?
  10. Thanks to all for the advice
  11. I'm very interested to read everyone's thoughts and experiences. I have an 8 acre small holding with another 5 in woodland. Despite having sheep, I need to be able to top the 8 acres when required. I do a fair amount of tree planting to its handy to use the post hole borer. I also need to be able to lift a ton. The Avant with all its attachments ticks the bill for me and quite a bit more. The small footprint of the avant is also a real benefit. I guess the big negative is the price but an old tractor that can lift a ton on the loader is a fair bit bigger! Lastly, my wife likes getting involved in all this and I made the mistake of letter her see how easy it is to attach and detach the implements!
  12. Hi Bob, thanks for the input. When you say plastic panels, do you mean the black mud guards front and rear? I thought apart from these the rest was metal?
  13. These wouldn't work for me as I want to be able to attach a flail mower and a bar cutter.
  14. @ WoodED, thanks for posting the pics... I've demo'd one and thought it's a great machine for doing everything... Plus being able to lift a ton and still be do small is super.
  15. I'm getting close to purchasing an Avant Loader (635)... just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or experience of the Avant Loaders against the MultiOne range? Thanks in advance
  16. Sold ours now but a cracking bit of kit.... never let us down once and excellent customer service from Kilworth
  17. Thanks guys.... As usual you have been a great help.... Very much appreciated!!
  18. Thanks for that, it's a big help. It didn't smoke for long... I'd guess 15 secs. I let it cool down after it happened and checked it over... All seemed fine, went to use it but I noticed the resistance of the soil was now stopping the blades and the clutch was slipping... This is why I thought that 1. I had burnt out the pads or 2. The springs needed a wee tighten?? Grateful for your help
  19. I know it's not really an arb related question but I know you guys are good with this stuff.... I have a Wessex RC120 rotavator and while using it yesterday got hooked into a buried tree stump.... The clutch at the rotavator end of the pto shaft kicked in and there was some smoke from it spinning. I have attached a pic showing the type of clutch that it is. My question is.... I assume this slp clutch will have pads of some sort that wears down quickly, allowing less tension in the springs and then slipping... Is there any way to know if it can just be tightened up? Or should I assume the pads will be totally worn? Cheers in advance
  20. Just out of interest how much are the micro arb trucks? Thanks
  21. Have you insulated around the flue liner? Vermiculite poured in from the top to fill all voids
