  1. Fomes or Phellinus igniarius perhaps? Base chocolate Brown.
  2. Chestnut dismantle under the castle
  3. back up 20m to find this
  4. Before, during, after.. Used to love doing these in London, silky & sectors, good times
  5. Possible solution for a windblown stem? Leave it in the garden and build a fence around it.
  6. Armillaria + ganoderma + wind... Fell in nicely between shed and hedge stopping 2' short of the house.
  7. x30 down along the garden wall and house
  8. Good advise coming through and very skillful of you colemanjessenz to locate that part. So maybe what I should do is start a new thread to find out if anyone has actually experience of the small tool loop breaking with an unintentionally dropped saw? treequip it looks like it might compromise the harness stitching though if it tears away... Basically I want to use it but I don't want to lose my saw (I do use a lanyard with a built in break-away).
  9. Ah well, I was hoping it was a more exciting primary attachment setup. Yeah I've got a notchless quickdraw as the caritool can catch the ring.
  10. Recently got new bridge and on page 7 of leaflet that came with it has the attached image showing some kind of tool attachment point for chainsaw? It would be nice to not have to use side D ring for chainsaw (gets quite busy with flip line) and have never used the little tab with a small ring as I think the weight of 020 would pull it out. Anyone have any ideas what the image shows? Cheers
  11. Great wee team working in Lothians see photos for details.
  12. Will get you details and a photo of a Borders-based team working in Lothians at the moment.
  13. Just about to leave sunny Queenstown NZ and heading back to either West London, Scotland (Edinburgh/Perthshire) or maybe Sweden... Does anyone remember which Stockholm tree company Complete Tree Care were recruiting for a year or so ago? Or failing that does anyone know of companies in Sweden/Norway/Ireland/France who pay well and are looking for lead climbers? I know we are heading into winter in the Northern Hemisphere but money calls. Cheers
