  10. Buy nice or buy twice, the extra money is worth it. I was told in Africa if you want to go to the desert for the day take a Nissan, if you want to come back take a toyota. With that said I was told the same thing a couple of weeks later and Nissan had been interchanged with landrover.
  11. Doug, on his last shoot of the season. Cracking Dog especially coming back from a horrendous injury earlier in the year.
  12. Just moved to a Stanley fat max from tree kit. Best thing I ever did. Pulls along on wheels and doubles up as a nice lunch seat. As wells as...shut the lid and it is water sealed lots of room for harness, bits and pieces and set of spikes. Could not recommend enough.
  13. Thankfully that is one of multiple Syc fells. Although I think we felled more ivy than sycamore. Hope your well mate hope you have a good Christmas with the new little ones.
  14. Overhead visit from an apache gunship recently on site. Amazing bit of kit but still think being an arborist has got to be a better job.
  15. Amazing videos as always Reg.
  16. Tried it the other day and it's the best srt setup I have used. Bit of a Mong with srt and a bit set in my ways though so I'm sure I am doing something wrong.
  17. Took down this Syc today. Think it had had its day with very minimal holding wood in places. Anchor points were at a premium.
  18. Excellent video Dan. If the videos on here keep up to this standard I won't have to get a tv license, (mrs might disagree). What make and model of drone is that?
  19. Absolutly fantastic. Massive respect to both you and the pilot.
  20. Tom I sub for a guy down in out corner that has a mountain of the undesirable wood. I will chat with him tomorrow and put him in touch with you if he is keen.

  22. The most important issue here is when I can get my hands on one? Even if if it's totally useless I still want one.
  23. All the best mate, Kent's loss is new Zealand's gain, look forward to coming out and climbing in nz with you in the future. Safe journey
  24. Congratulations mate. Good news. Catch up when you come to retrieve that Guinness from smithy.
