  12. I chopped end of my finger off years ago. Up a set of conifers. Cleaning trimmings off on top didnt realise timing was out on hedge trimmer. Painful. My boss at the time made me wrap it in a hanky and unload a turf wagon before he took me to a n e and left me there. Needless to say i didnt stay long after that

  17. 7x7 gate posts dug in and tamped up gates hung 120 plus materials. Never strain of a gate post the fencing police will arrest you. Charge plenty for short runs. Most of the faffing about in stock fencing is the beginning and end. Short runs take time. Always dig a few small test holes with a grafter when pricing uo to check the ground conditions. Learnt this the hard way puting post and rail up in a beautiful paddock that should have been great knocking perfect going. Typical clay soils no chalk i was made up. Till we hit the threshing pad and found the rubble. 60 posts later alot of swearing and saw arms i vowed to always check Jim
  18. £50-£60 per metre depending on site
  19. My l200 not the best pic have some better somewere
  20. We do logs into surrounding area within four miles of yard at a cheaper rate. Have gone upto fifty miles but price reflected it
  21. Cheaper option is big horizontal splitter and a saw bench. Get ur arb waste suppliers to cut evrything to metre lenghs and billet the lot. Then you can buy in oversize cord which is cheaper and billet that too.
  22. Very interesting. Lets hope we get a blast for a week or two
