  1. Home - TCF Engineering Sounds like the logjaw to me too.
  2. I gave up waiting and bought a 201!
  3. I know of someone with a mobile mill (possibly a lumbermate) in the Telford area. If that could work for you I can see if I still have a contact number?
  4. Hi, I've just been trying to change my insurance over from my Fiesta that I currently drive to an Isuzu Rodeo that I should be collecting on Monday Anyway my current insurers will not insure trucks and since I paid for 12 months insurance in advance and I have to cancel the policy I will not get any rebate for the remaining 6 months left! So I've just asked the Meerkats for a quote and the cheapest they have given me is dean grove & dean private clients. It looks like they are cheaper by at least £100, even their sister company Performance direct. So was just wondering if anyone has dealt with this company before or heard anything about them? Thanks Brian
  5. I used to go out with a girl from Presteigne. Not a place you could get lost in! lol
  6. Must be worth ringing all the arb firms and farms again now. Farmers might have the odd dropped limb or fallen tree that needs clearing up or arb firms that have a lot of clear up work on,due to snow, and may need an extra pair of hands?
  7. Looks like about 10 inches on the ground here! Was meant to be going to a Stihl and Viking open day at a farm machinery place then going to look at a Ranger for sale
  8. Next time I'm up there I definitely will
  9. I've only just realised that this tree is only about 2 miles from where my grandmother lived! I didn't know it existed until it was posted on here!
  10. I'd really like to come to this! But Still waiting on the other half to get her work rota for April to see if I'm allowed or not
  11. alwaysawildchild | eBay Anyone think the Stihl gear for sale might be a bit iffy? (bottom of page) It's all new or nearly new stuff and states that had security etchings taken off, Doesn't quite feel right to me
  12. Maybe I went up to £75 on the last 15 seconds
  13. I admit I had a cheeky bid on it. On the off chance I was up against some tight gits Knew it was going to go for more than I was willing to pay though!
  14. Unfortunately I don't have to click on the vid to know the tune or lyrics.....they just popped in my head!
  15. I believe Gustharts stock Aspen if I remember correctly. But no shipping, only collection.
  16. This is where I got my information from http://www.hedgelaying.org.uk/news/2011feb.pdf It is dated from 2011 though so not sure if things have changed since then?
  17. I'm sure, I read somewhere, you can go up to April 30th? Or used to be able to anyway.
  18. Thanks for the reply The style I do is double brush too but half snedded both sides so to keep it at about a metre wide at the bottom but narrower at the top. That's to help stop too much snow collecting and collapsing the hedge. We get more snow up here than the tropical South
  19. Looks good What style is that? One of the Welsh styles I think?...I do something similar but I'd have the angle of the stakes going the opposite way to the pleachers, helps to lock things in place a bit. Plus binders are optional and only do a single row if needed. I struggle to get a good line to the stakes. Always seems to be a stem, root or big stone in the way!! lol
  20. Probably best to start off small scale first to see IF there is the market there before forking out over a grand on a full size kiln? I know of someone who has all the gear but doesn't make it now because they think there isn't a big enough market to make it worthwhile.
  21. I would love one of those!
  22. Thanks for the suggestions fellas Still not sure which one to go for as yet lol I'll go back to the drawing board and look at some more models and see if I can find what I want
  23. Iceland has always been one of those places I've really wanted to visit! One day!
