  1. I trailed the quad chip maybe 5/6 months ago? And it was fantastic, great speed the turn table came in handy etc the only small difference was the bar was at the top, not at the bottom. A small point and would most proberly get used to it. Defo the green mech, even with wet brash we didn't get a blockage like you would with the timberwolf , good luck
  2. Belongs in a museum lol
  3. Local google searches for tree firms in your area bud Gloaming Tree Surgery https://plus.google.com/115909751958308364143/about?gl=uk&hl=en Just two of many
  4. So why post ur previous reply?
  5. Bowman does work through thick wooded areas , as I was a rrb commander at 1 point and didn't have any probs in the uk Germany Poland
  6. If I was to use them , I'd just listen out for a radio traffic, and of half way through the day there was some I'd have a con plan in place to switch to a secondary freq. also most had comms via military are secure. Only really set up a hf insecure net as a back up if the crypto had a spazzing lol
  7. Lol ok I'll keep my thought to private messages lol
  8. I understand that its not avaiable to the civvi market lol, even when bowman did finally arrive it was 10 years out of date. I've used clansman as well and for what you get it's a gd bit of kit and squaddie fidded lol, a clansman RT349 should be gd enough. There's a pair on eBay for less than £100 atm. Or even a clansman 351 352 320 radio on a backpack frame that could be carried or strapped to a vehicle
  9. Insecure radio nets will be affected for example by the Russian truck drivers, however most of the bowman set up is secure(encrypted) therefore you wouldn't get in the local radio traffic coming up on your net. As for the reason why I suggested the new prr however I'm sure there'll be a civvi model that's does the same but with all things like that it can cost a lot
  10. Maybe back in your day old boy lol If youve got the sandbag I'll get the lantern
  11. Well the vid just proves hUsky all the way lol
  12. Also known as sporadic E lol
  13. But surly if you have a mobile with gd comms and check in every hr or so shouldn't that be good enough. Since of there was a problem ud have to call emergency services anyway
  14. A30sec look and found these item num 110945419476 there really gd and encrypted lol

I believe that's the way you started a saw back in the day, as I almost failed a interview by not doin that. Lucky enough I grabbed my old college booklets and called nptc for conformation . They then changed the assessment lol
