  1. I normally use 3x2 cls for the frame at 600 mm centers as it's a lot stronger than the normal 2x1. Then clad it in 18mm weather board not to expensive and looks good. For the roof make a few trusses up then use 4x2 for the perlins then cover with at least 12mm wbp ply then felt or torch on felt. If I can be of any help let us know as I'm a time served joiner
  2. Just sign up for a bar and chain:laugh1:

  20. Sounds like a nice peaceful night. I just finished work picked up the mrs then had a nice few pints of tenants ice cold in the bar. Great way to finish a hard days graft
  21. Go and buy a 4x4 mag as there are plenty of ads in them for insurance. You will be surprised if you phone the company direct as they don't have to pay a broker ect so are a good bit cheaper
  22. That's good to know:001_smile: you learn some thing new every day
  23. Sounds like choosing a pair of good gloves is a night mare. Might just get a cheap pair for my course and see how I get on
  24. I was trained in first aid when I was in the army but was always told not to use it in civvy street as i would be open to being sued. A sad fact of the world we live in today but if I can help I would and a good first aid kit is money well spent. Better to have it and not need it than to need and not have it
  25. Forgot to say that I've already bought one. Was one of the first things I bought:thumbup1: as better to be safe than sorry
