  1. Im not a huge fan of hedge cutting but you can earn £350 - £500 a day they are cut twice a year and nearly always lead to more tree work so can't complain. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2

  10. We come close tge other day prised cutting a hedge a few weeks bk phoned the guy a left a message saying we will be down tomorrow to cut it any problems let us know. Turn up at 8 the nxt morning to find the hedge cut in a very rough way, so we go knock on the door the guy in his 30 comes to the door and says what! We arranaged to cut your hedge well its done now he replys so we say as we traveled 26 miles to come you could at least cover our fuel. With this he totaly flipped on us it was hard to control our tempers but we kinda of did. Only to arrive back at the office to have an abusive message from him. God im tempted to go cut his hedge off at the bottom. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2

  15. Good attitude mate. I was lucky started on £90 when on ground and £115 climbing, when working for other companys asked for £120 a day climbing now 6 years on im on £150 a day climbing. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Depends how hard you work Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Thats what I think spend £150/200 on a pair of top chainsaw boots which are falling apart within six months so are not offering full protection. When a good pair of leather boots with steel caps will last a year no problem. Saying this I always buy and wear haix boots think the issue really is the quality of the boots have dropped. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2
  18. I agree with you having spent a small fortune on chainsaw boots for them to fall apart six months down the line is a joke, a cheap pair of work boots lasts twice as long and cost half the price. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2
  19. This could be a silly question but do you think any one at the APF show would be doing chipper blade sharpening? thought it could be handy to take a few sets along and get them done while i enjoy the show.
  20. We have just bought a new Carlton SP2010 from orange plant this is our first grinder always hired one or gave the job to a friend who owns a grinders. But never really pushed the grinding if they asked we would get it sorted, but now offering that extra service its surprising how much work comes in for it, and it's just nice being able to offer a complete service to our customers.
  21. If so I'll bring my misses lol
