  5. Reading your post was like you explaining my life and my symptoms, I was really worried a few weeks ago with chest pains etc, I was trying to do 3 people's jobs in one and let everything build up. It sometimes takes a scare to make you realise your doing too much, and it certainly did with me, Silky Fox has taken a lot if the load now and things are running smoother than ever. I still really need to stop doing 12 hour days 6 days a week, but its the old scenario of getting another climber in to do the work that I love, so I can spend more time in the office and doing quotes, the part I don't love. I do enjoy the managerial side but would I choose it over climbing....? No way, not ever! So what do we do? Head down and get on with it, same as usual, winter is just round the corner so things will ease off a little then. As far as switching off is concerned, the only way I have found is in the gym and for that hour I don't think about work at all, it is amazing like someone switches work off and when I leave the gym the switch is back on,,, I just wish I had time to go to the gym.......GRRRRRRRRR! 12. Yes the fitter form Overland was with the machine, he was operating the verible speed rollers, he was turning it up for branchwood and brash and down to timber, I was expecting a machine like no other for £26k but I was bitterly disappointed.
  13. I agree Schleising have a far superior build quality and on paper is hugely better than the Timberwolf 190 in every respect this is why I had one shipped over from Holland, but on the day it was awful, yes it would take bit bits but it was so slow. I used Schleising years ago when I first left college at a large firm in Newcastle and all they had were Schleising's, and yes they were awsome! I really dont know what to put it down to but on the day my old Timberwolf was quicker and out chipped the MX235
  14. I recently had a demo of the Schleising MX230 and my old Timberwolf out chipped it so ill be steering well clear of Schleising's Sent using my carrier pigeon

  18. Well well well... Still no rain (touch wood), this week was meant to be a wash out and look at the blue sky! Had another great days climbing, and we have come to conclusion that there is a bad apple in the cart, this bad apple is slowing down production and productivity so I'm on the case. 19. How abouts this grit a prezzy from a customer.... We did a weeks work thinning a woodland for a female property developer and look what was under a sheet in her living room when I went to collect payment, she told me she had a little something for me... It is now my favourite possession. My other favourite is my cows head Have a good day everyone! Sent using my carrier pigeon
  20. Had a cracking day today, lots of happy customers, the last customer (a German lady) had even baked us lavender biscuits! mm mm mmmm wow We had lovely working co furious today 16 degrees and blue sky's until half an hour away from finishing, I was up a plum reducing it with my silky and the rain and hail stones started, my god I've not seen rain like it, not since thunder Thursday! We got soaked to our kegs within seconds Got a great day tomorrow, private school pruning and felling them onto a felling job in Durham Came out for tea with the family and finally got a pint, I've not had a John Smiths for years and I love it! 23. Hi mate, Minsteracres is an amazing place, those redwoods make you feel so insignificant. Minsteracres is an 18th-century mansion house, now a Christian retreat centre, in Northumberland, England. It is a Grade II listed building. The house was built in 1758 by George Silvertop.
