  1. Little quick video taken from my phone, so not the best quality, will be putting together my whole SRT setup video soon, but for now just to show those interested in the solo footloop. No arm work at all all in the legs.
  2. Spot on David, orange banded sexton to be exact but yeah a burying beetle defiantly
  3. It's hard for a steady climber to make it look awesome in the sense that I don't do anything fancy! I do what I have to do and enjoy it but thanks Gerb Thanks Barry! I don't think she was overly sharpe on the day she's just got some amazing grunt for a small saw! Modding it was the best thing I've done! She's a little gem and I love her. SRT really does come into its own in a reduction situation. Nothing else comes close! I could not go back to limb walking again Cheers bro, I know there long but o like to think showing a decent perspective I what I'm doing! Hopefully may relieve my camera shyness Haha thanks dude I got piss wet through Hahaha love you mate Duel line base anchor on this one mate, fair size to the tips around 85 ish. Needed the extra rope to make me able to finish my last redirects naturally. I'm on form at the minute re reductions most growth points are just screaming at me. There are a few that require a little more thought lol Thanks buddy very kind words Hahaha cheers joe I won't forget that next time it happens! If I catch it on film I'll be sure to post it Hahaha you know I'm good This is why you use me Love you James your a good lad
  4. Ok I'll log on the Google forum
  5. Where's the poll section on app mate?
  6. I suppose it's a big thing to ask to sit there and watch the whole thing, it is nice to get feedback however Cheers Tommy, it was a sweltering day! Also being a mixed wood the hornets, bees, wasps ect made a huge buzzing drone all day! Incredible really. Kernmaster fire dragon sun god mate. I'll see what happens in future videos, I just hate talking to the camera to be fair! Gives me an inferior complex haha Haha I don't swear that much do I?? Lol Next on the list to look at and do mate I'm sure it turned out ok though Cheers dude. I like to think I know what I'm doing hahaha
  7. Totally disagree with you mate, my other videos have to find so far! When I bought the camera my aim was defiantly not to make the job look like its something it's not! Which is like most are! I like people to see what it is I'm doing. Throw in a little music job done. Takedown videos I agree can be shortened a lot just show the best bits. But pruning videos are completely different! How can you get a good perspective of the job from just a couple of minutes?
  8. Wow you guys are way to generous! Just hit 1 million views with this video thanks again
  9. Have you seen anyone climb SRT before? I would defiantly advise you get on some form of climb be it a course or recreational. I've been climbing complete SRT now for a few years. But a throw line is key to getting either a top tie in point or a non isolated base anchor. What ever device it is you chose to use drt has no part to play at all. Depending on how good your throw line skills are there should really be no need to reset your main tie in point. Just redirect your line if need be. There are a few great videos on SRT but there's nothing like seeing it being done from a personnel perspective
  10. He said he thinks!! For all we know they could be pink!! I'm going of bark and leaf.
  11. Couple weeks back now for James hoddys crew, no real specific meterage to go by other than reduce the end weight of all lateral branches to alleviate the root plate pressure. Tree was done in good time approximately 4 hour steady total climb. Very hot and humid day working in a woodland estate entrance. Anyway as usual switch to HD and enjoy
  12. I think it looks sweet also, looks very robust and well stitched. Don't quote me on this mark but they may also do a knee ascender package with one of these in but sure if you already have one then I'd say it would be the perfect partner saves having to put the loop over your boot everytime hey bro?
  13. It will be priced at around £20 jake And it fits my phantoms James so no doubt it will fit pfanners.
  14. A few people may remember at the AA show I was wearing a removable foot loop designed to enable you to conveniently clip in your knee ascender. It simply stays on which ever foot you desire for a quick installation of what ever knee ascender you choose to use. Here is a picture of the solo foot loop but I will be posting up pictures and a video of both steins knee ascender and foot loop combo very soon.
  15. Most people forget to let the saw do the work, applying too much pressure on either handle can offset the saw by a huge amount. Check your chain is evenly Sharpe and let the saw to the work not your arms!!
  16. Notify the land owner and let them sort it out!
