  8. based in Lincolnshire between Boston and Spalding, i carry out a lot for freelance climbing but also advertise for private works, and becoming quite busy, was looking for someone to rely on to call up when needed, good rates of pay(depending on XP), you will need your own PPE, and ground saw if you have one, but not to worry if you don't. contact me/ Adam for a chat on 07960282489 or drop me an email or private message on here. Thanks for reading. Adam:001_smile:

  13. nice work there giorgio.... always sad to see nice trees come out, is there any laws for damaging trees were you are?, italy seems to be covered in cedars.....
  14. thought i would repost my original post again??????? seem as though it never got answered??????
  15. Glad you started this thread Miker, was going to post this in the achievements thread, but i was going to base it on influencing music, and this song was a big wake up call to me 5 years ago, after a miserable relationship end i kind of went on a downer for 6 months. i know it happens to most of us and its better to of loved and lost than not loved at all......BUT i made my own bed and i lay in it.....so after 5 months of work work work running someone else business i came home one night to find the ex ..........you know the rest????. anyway after near on a litre of vodka a night for 2 months i ended up in a bed at the local hospital dehydrated, depressed, knackered from work and just wanting a break, then a young lad in the bed next to me lent me his ipod thingy..... the first song that was played to my ears was Staind and the song outside.......it took a while but i got over what had happened and now i look back and think it was the best thing that ever happened to me....every time i hear this song it makes me smile because i'm on the outside and i'm looking in . i only drink the odd beer now and will never touch vodka again....well hope you enjoy this if you have not heard it before:thumbup: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6zdPD81kY0&feature=related]Staind feat Fred Durst - Outside live at {Family Valious 1999} HD - YouTube[/ame]
  16. welcome to the forum Grandad.... you sound just like my old man...... all good though....
  17. what cut did you use dadio??? what was the reason for the take down? your MEWP is fast!!!! Why not just climb and dismantle? do any of your jobs not go to plan?
  18. Nice job there simon...... had a thorn from one of those little beggars straight up my thumb nail,,, worst thing was taking my glove of.....
  19. Nice job giorgio...... though it had been a while since you last posted a video.....
  20. Why? the answer surely is obvious.....as what new equipment has to do with your 38/39....there certificates of competence not who can climb on a new shiny...that my friend comes with experience, know how, and just trying new stuff.....if we didn't try then everyone would still be on the 3 knot system. when i took my 38/39 i had at the time been climbing for 5 years, i was on a lock jack and also used a distel with the old isc pulleys but was also asked to demonstrate the 3 knot system s (standard procedure) . every thing comes with some kind of instructions and you can always guarantee some has already tried it before you and there is some tutorial video on the tube...... IMO there are to many money making schemes out there let alone a new one for every piece of equipment we buy....... Research........
  21. but think of all the possibility's though, don't give up get the photo tomorrow so we can have a butchers ....
  22. there all right, peter said you don't necessarily have to use 27mm sling but its what it will take up to, using a 19mm sling is more than enough for 16mm line, then your making sure that your rope is the weakest part of your system. i did detect some sarcasm in your post peter but gibbon does have a point..... not that i'm saying Ardon doesn't know what he's doing it just seems a bit of an collage boy question? saying that though if you don't know just ask......
  23. nice one Rob ......cool link..
