    ArbDogs? Pics!

Facing wrong way, no cliff, no monkey. 2/10.
  2. It’s a top quality gif, Mick, applied perfectly, but I’m afraid the drama is over.
  3. Bollocks.
  4. Not at all. When I met you a few months ago, I introduced myself, raised a topic you evidently found tricky and you skulked off and avoided me until I’d gone. You’re quite happy to weigh in to a conversation I’m having online though. My comment wasn’t odd, just a bit unpalatable for you I imagine.
  5. General house warmth must keep it warm enough. I’d love heated vehicle storage. I suspect my van would start at -10.5c but not easily.
  6. I see you’ve found your voice.
  7. Is the garage heated then?
  8. Are block/battery/fuel heaters common at your latitude?
  9. I turned the compressor on just to do the van tyres the other day so it had probably 90psi left in it when I was finished. I was going away for a few days so it needed draining. Like an absolute moron, I thought to myself, “I wonder if I can fully undo the drain plug and hang onto it without blasting my fingers off.” I couldn’t and I was moderately lucky to not be shot by the brass plug. I’ll be equally lucky to find it. Idiocy. Knew it was a stupid idea at every stage. Did it anyway.
  10. Any idea why the end of a stub wouldn't callous like a collar does?
  11. I walked past your stall at the APF.
  12. I have the spliced eye of my main rope hung on a nail in the shed as a reminder of the cost of complacency. I was gutted. It was (and is) my only pro splice and it was a joy to use. Likewise, ivy, easy tree. Didn’t go all the way though it but finished the job with a silky before it started looking usable again. Fearsome Stihl 120 or 170.
  13. Make cider, become popular.
  14. What peds said. Zeppelin bends look a bit fall-aparty. Great for a hard winch/machine pull I'm sure but I'd worry with a climbing line that I'm constantly weighting and unweighting over a few hours. I can't remember how to tie one either.

    Clever or not?

The split is in the cane. The planted plant is fine. CAN YOU SEE WITHOUT YOUR GLASSES, SIR?

    Clever or not?

No, it’s not. If it’s going to rub the bark off or something, I can go back out with a bit of string.
  17. No it’s not. 99% of modern air rifles shoot fabulously accurately. 50% of HMRs don’t shoot or at least have some niggling annoyance. We really are wasting the internet now.
  18. Fair enough. I didn’t like mine. Firm 50:50 mix of mates who like:dislike them too.
  19. I realised as I was typing, the sin of clogging the internet up with more of it but I already had it mostly done by then.
  20. HMR. Anyone who’s got one says they’re great because they know they need market confidence in them to sell theirs. Anyone who’s had one knows they’re hit and miss. Hornet. Old reliable. If it’s not flat enough, you could probably make it flatter with a better zero for scope height and PBR.
  21. Planting a few bits and pieces. No real idea what I’m doing. Thought this floppy thing looked like it needed keeping upright. Pulled a silky out of my back pocket and this happened. Good idea? Bad idea? Doesn’t matter much?
  22. This pickaroon that I lashed up from a broken axe handle and a lag screw a few years ago. Just found it in a shed and wondering how I’ve coped without it.
  23. HMR is pointless. Replace it with a .22 Hornet. There are always loads of (excellent) CZ Hornets about.
  24. @Peasgood @agg221

    Stokboard

Stokbord or Solway's own version? Is it the same thing?
