thanks rob thats very kind of you to offer me your help i will come down and take a look soon thanks i,am in no position yet to contemplate anything at the moment i,ve even lost geoff lucks boots in the post he gifted to me i feel really guilty now as everything i seem to do goes wrong please let me know your contact details so i can come and look at your log splitter please one day as i would like to meet up with you thanks hope you dont mind all the bother me troubling you i feel like i,am putting everyone out at times i,am very very greatfull to you all for your advice and input

thanks it was something i just thought could be of use to someone with a forklift truck but was only a pie in the sky sort of thing as you say it would cost a lot of money i just wanted your views on the idea and why anyone had not used one etc as usual some more useless rubbish in my head lol thanks anyway for your advice

i was more thinking off a fixed peice of kit on my plot so to speak and suppose could fit a longer exhaust but would the hydraulics be upto the job i know all the steel is very heavy duty has anyone tried it ???

As anyone ever thought of trying to convert a old forklift into a logsplitter what was your views on giving it a go could it be done ???? some have spare hydraulics 3rd lever hydraulics levers unused etc

thanks everyone i,ve had a bad 2 days as for getting off the tablets i,am on at the moment has helped me as i was working out how to end it all etc before but not anymore i just get very very down and avoid people and the pressures and stress of the outside world but do have good days and make the effort to go down the plot to chop some wood it does make me feel better but get tired very quickly through lack of sleep and interest low energy etc as i,ve cut carbs out trying to keep my weight down because of doing nothing not motivated etc will cause me to bloat up eating crap etc and that makes me feel worse as i cant even look myself in the mirror its hard at times even the dog thinks i,am mad lol i will look back as geoff luck said on the phone yesterday and have a chuckle one day at the things i,ve said but if you have never had how i feel at the moment even down to ending my life etc you will find it hard to understand i feel trapped and no way out and only for guys like yourselves have given me hope and better understanding of the mess i,am in but will not let it get the better of me thanks everyone for your kindness

i hope who ever stolen your saw has bad luck or even better cuts both there hands off with it to steal a anything is bad in my book and is wrong and makes me very angry

TO BE HONEST I,VE NOT BEEN OUT WITH THE DOG but a lady who has a little dog and a little boy somtimes have stopped on my front and ask to take him etc and as a little dog he does,nt need much walking as i have a long garden and driveway etc he,s beeen a good mate to me and very loyal even after i,ve told him off for something he does,nt walk round sulking not talking for days unlike my wife did when she was here ithat probblem has gone now i,am going to make a happy list and a sad list then through sad list in bin etc to try and help myself recover little steps etc i,am going to o back down my plot today to faff around and generally keep myself busy se how it goes i can always come back home and it will give me the chance to wear my new ppe and crack my saw up with any luck but then again and i,ve di=one it before gone down and done nothing just sat and thought about life etc people in general as i hate being around too many it gets a bit to much for me its somthing i myself has to overcome i just dont want confrontation etc as i will end up locked up so do things when i want to etc as you say little steps BECAUSE OF YOU GUYS I have more trust now of late the kind words have helped me think more positive etc but my moods are all over the place doom n gloom etc then have to put my happy mask on to deal with a caller to the house etc

THANKYOU and as soon as my moods lift i want to go out to my friends plot where i have my firewood logs stored but reqiure cutting splitting up etc i got as far as fuel chain oil in back off jeep unchained my chainsaw off shelf in garage and loaded axe into jeep then just u turned back to sitting in garden etc could,nt bring myself to load my saw up and go etc ended up watching a dove building a nest in the tree at bottom of my garden and sitting in the sun drinking coffee i have days like this were i just want to be left alone etc but at the same time dying and excited to use my new ppe saw pants hat and gloves boots etc but at same time want my safe zone here at home call me odd if you want but i,am going to push myself to go out in morning to go down plot even if i dont start splitting wood etc i will take time out with nature and chill out with my dog etc in the sunshine listening to the bird life i find it very difficult at the moment with shopping too around people rushing about i get stressed out and end up walking out the shop i just want to get in get out etc

I,AM VERY GREATFULL TOO sent me a pair of chainsaw boots but wrong size and made no fuss me returning them for exchange etc very pleasant comunication on telephone etc nothing is too much trouble no atitude etc thankyou HONEY BROS

thanks i was very confused at first why have or use chainsaw protection gloves but not use them etc i was puzzled but understand now when your using a chainsaw wear them for protection like a condom just incase things go wrong your protected

I was just reading another post regarding gloves and notice not many wear chainsaw gloves or use them why is that ?. I,ve just got some gifted to me and was very greatful and going to use them when i get my saw out again soon whats the probblem and issues etc as i,am confused now why

how do you deal with the anger and short fuse i feel so disinterested at times no interest in the things even when being spoken to even just doing the dishes is a big deal. I get moody tetchy even with my closest friends but alway apologise and feel so guilty as i,ve been/felt a pratt forget things all the time too even mid conversation i feel as though i could explode and if anyone confronted me or insulted me etc i fear the worst as i could do the most dreadfull things to my foes i could without feelings or remorse destroy that person no probblem why do i feel like this at times i,am so tired and grumpy lack of sleep even today i just could,nt be bothered with the outside world i just wanted to be at home safe in my comfort zone i have a slot with my doctor tomorrow as its all getting a bit much as i just cant focus on anything i just needed to get it all off my chest

thats scary for me all that wood stacked up is it against your home etc as the nearest i have is about 60ft away i do like your trailer though i raised the sides on mine last december on the promiss of some logs in january from a contract in worsley my friendly tree surgeon from haydock but the job did,nt come off etc so its been sat with a flat tyre and full off leaves i will have to get motivated and sort it out nice diy job though propppperrrrrrrrrrr job serves its purpose well

only use one to recover a chain after belting/knocking lunps out the cutters otherwise file everytime i get a better faster cut me thinks and use my old chains for the ruff dirty stuff for my logburner i have learned the hardway done the buying chepo chain used my saw through dirt etc arbtalk has learned me loads read and learn or it will cost you £££££££££
