  9. hello i got talking today about chopping machines and my friend john who helps me use to chop sticks with a old chopping machine no idea what there called has anyone got one please he said they drive of a donkey engine which i have already but unsure what one looks like he tried to tell explain that its just a blade bobbing up and down and it fastens to a work bench etc to make sticks as he did when he was a lad to earn some spends after school etc he's 66 years old now though so was hoping someone may have one for sale etc it would make a great present for him as a project to get one working again etc as he loves messing around with old stuff & i've let him site and old liner sawbench on my plot that he has done up himself bearings are a bit noisy but he's made up with it as his dad use to have one etc he loves getting the donkey engine running and sawing any oversize logs i pile up near it for him meantime i'am going to look on youtube to find out there name and how they worked etc
  10. hello i'am after some advice on a decent pair of gloves as i'am left handed and when splitting logs a tend to throw the split logs with my left hand and the norm rubber coated gloves only last a matter of 2 hrs and the left glove is worn through etc I've been thinking of a pair of leather gloves but cant make my mind up if i,am wasting my money buying the wrong type of glove not fit for purpose etc as its the thumb and first two fingers that are worn away in no time at all with throwing the split logs with my left hand >> its as if i'am squeezing/gripping the log to tight when i throw and at that point is whats buggering the glove up. so i'am ending up with a pile of right handed gloves lol and tried using them on my left hand but that's just too uncomfortable and cant pick the logs up propper to throw

  16. if the last thing you did was turn it off and get out then the fault is in that point of switching off and getting out so could well be key transponder has already stated maybe try the spare key or take your key into key/locksmith with logbook n i'd and give them the key to see if the chip is,nt corrupt has been known if its ok there chip reader will see the code etc so the key can be copy'd etc if needed otherwise your van wont start
