  1. If you want to PM a price over, I can probably get over at the weekend if it suits. Cheers
  2. That looks perfect, could you get dimensions of it please, and how much you want for it. I'm only at Scarborough, so not too far away. Thanks
  3. Forgive me if this has been posted many, many times before. Who best to supply roller shutter tool cabinets to fasten at the front of a tipper body? Only want a narrow 1 to keep bed space. I've had a look online but think I must be using the wrong keywords as only found 1 company. Any recommendations would be great. Doesnt need to be new, if anybody has 1 they would be willing to part with. TIA - Andy
  4. Is that the kubota that Chris Shepard used to have?
  5. Think only for above 5kw stoves or installations in any modern airtight house
  6. Keep us updated, I was thinking about it today and I think it's a grand idea, the only issue I can see is if a knotty piece is split and it puts enough pressure on 1 side to twist the splitter knife, without significantly strengthening the trough around the knife to enable support bars to be fitted I'm guessing theres no way round that though
  7. Have a look on wearpartsuk.co.uk and look at bargain blades section, has a list of short offcuts around 18", they specialise in hardox so might have something you can use
  8. Sounds like a good plan, are you going to use bucket blade sharpened up? I don't think I've ever used the 4 way so if your creation is successful I might just steal your idea!
  9. Thinking about it, mine might be an 11t, not sure where I got 13 from. Hopefully there should be a pic attached of ths 8 way when it was brand new
  10. Don't know what splitting force your Dunn is but mines 13t and it can struggle with the 8 way in semi seasoned beech, we just use the 6 really and put 4 of the logs back through, it takes a bit more time but gives a good product. On a different note, picked up a transit engine and box to power the Dunn today. Just waiting to hear back about a right angle gear box that'll reverse direction of rotation and can start throwing bits together.
  11. Surely having two shelves in the log store would serve the same purpose, ie being able to access the older logs first.
  12. Wouldn't have a clue where to start on Instagram
  13. Nope, never even sniffed the stuff, just wondering if anybody had done a live edge floor.
  14. Sat at home bored, sick of playing operation and other kids games, so mind has wandered. Has anybody ever done a live edge and resin floor? Obviously over laid on a concrete or timber base, but is it possible, has anyone got any pics? As I say I'm just bored and thought it might look cool in a man cave or bar etc. P.s hope everyone had a good Christmas
  15. You should look at epdm roofs, basically its 1.2mm innertube rubber. Its glued down in 1 piece with a water based adheasive and contact adheasive around the perimeter. Theres all types of trims from kerb to gutter edge and it leaves a tidy finish with a life expectancy of 25 yrs +. We use it a lot for flat and low pitched roofs as it's so user friendly and can be completed in nearly all weathers. It's obviously a lot more expensive than standard felt, but on a nice product like your shed or a summer house, it's probably worth it
  16. It actually only hurts if I try to straighten my leg, been on crutches for 2 days and coping ok, cant get into a tractor cab but can manage to sit in the pub! Embarrassingly tore it while walking from the living room to the kitchen. Had been having niggles for a few months so had been wearing a brace, and guess it just said **************** it over had enough.
  17. If this is in the wrong place feel free to move it Steve. As title suggests, I've torn my patellar tendon in my knee. Just wondering if anybody has done same and can give an idea of recovery time? Why do these things happen when your at your busiest at work? Bollox!
  18. Clark's are probably best for harvester chain, suprisingly cheap compared to normal chainsaw chain. I'm guessing because it doesnt need any kickback protection built in
  19. Also it's a standard Dunn cutting bar on it.
  20. Should be a pic of the chains I have for my 420
  21. Trantor mk11 ?
  22. Ah didn't see that bit, just assumed that as a container is 8' wide a forklift would get in.
  23. If it's only a short container open the doors right back and put a straw bale on telehandler tines and lift from inside.
  24. I've managed to find some front side lights with indicators on flea bay so gonna alter an old light board to suit.
  25. Reason for removing it was that we were processing a lot of billets, and they never seemed to drop into the chamber right, it's now set up with a 2 stage lever, first stage is high force low speed and second is low force high speed with detent on return position. Once you get into a rhythm it works well.
