  8. So I bought a Predator 450 from Arbrep services for an extremely good price. Going to unleash it on Monday on a 3.5ft Beech stump.
  9. I just bought a Predator 450! Bought it from Arbrep Services at a VERY good price. I've been using Arbrep since the company started and Charles' service and work ethic is legendary.
  10. ??? The HC system is very good. It can be used in a variety of configurations and is very easy even for a novice. Certainly not obsolete.
  11. Have a look on this thread to learn more about it. The lifting arm is very useful. It's not as powerful as a GRCS of course but lifting whilst rigging is all about tying points, angles and creating the right levers. I've found my RC3002 to be much better than the Hobbs. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/rigging-roping/32373-new-stein-rc3002.html
  12. Hangovers are for wusses! The first mistake you made was to sober up. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  13. Use the Search function and look for O-Rig. Much better and more versatile. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. I got the Landscaper model because I'll only ever use it with a hedge cutter. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. What he said. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. I'd speak to Dean at Global Recycling first. These kind I things can be expensive if you do the wrong thing. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  17. Removing this nearly dead apple the replace with a Magnolia. Client "didn't remember" pouring 13" of concrete about 30 yrs ago!!! Curses! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. Crown lifting this big Beech. Before: During: Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  19. Did my third job on this Oak in the last 8yrs. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  20. If I was you I'd be looking at a Bandit because Global Recycling are your closest dealer (I think). Also, you just can't beat a Bandit machine. The only others I would consider are the Forst if you want 6" or Jensen A540 if you want an 8" machine. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. The ramps are for the stump grinder I just bought so it is tree related, erm sort of. BTW, I'm not showing favouritism, I've had impeccable service from all the advertisers on here that i've used, this is just a funny one.
  22. I once drove a Mercedes Sprinter from Cape Town to somewhere in Namibia. Exactly 1000 miles and i did it in exactly 10 hours, including fuel stops. Brilliant.
  23. Isn't Samson Vortex available in this the UK?
  24. ELH without question. If I was a home owner with very long hedges that I trim myself twice a year I'd get the GTM. Any more work than that and there is nothing else on the market that is close to the ELH. It's a completely refined product and after using mine many times now, I have not thought "Oh I wish he'd designed that bit differently." I start trimming and stop when the fuel runs out, but only because the fuel runs out! Best bit of money I ever spent and I only do about 16 days a year hedge cutting.
  25. ..........deliveries, has there been service such as this: 1: On Tuesday I phoned FR Jones to buy some loading ramps and was told they were out of stock but due in the following day. 2:I went home and ordered them online. 3: On Wednesday late afternoon Jake called me to say the ramps are still out of stock and I shouldn't expect them until the following Wednesday. 4: I felt a bit disappointed. 5: Today is Friday and upon getting home, I find that the ramps have been delivered, 5 DAYS EARLIER THAN PROMISED!! Trouble is, next time I think about buying from them, I'll be disappointed if the gear isn't delivered before I've ordered it!
