  1. I thought Treeworker is up north somewhere. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  2. Good man. My philosophy is that if you are able to walk to the toilet to throw up, you're able to walk to work. Vomiting never stopped me going to work, uncontrollable diarrhoea was the only thing to keep me at home. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  3. I'm slightly envious. If it was Danni, I'd want to know what you found when you sifted through her bins! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  4. I can top all of those. Shane Richie! Hahahaha! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  5. I switched to an SRWP system because I could see the ergonomic advantage. I didn't expect it to make climbing fun again. Instead of stressing about friction on branches, those branches are now my best friends. Excellent. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  6. I've used a left foot Pantin for a few years but I'm getting a sore knee because of it. Last week I got a right foot new Pantin. I'm having serious coordination issues but hate the new Pantin. I was foolish of them to make it a fraction smaller. It works just a well but it's fiddlier to use. I wish I'd got the CMI instead. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  7. Definitely dangerous. Today whilst wearing mine: A telehandler got stuck in the mud. A big tree got hung up. The telehandler blew a tyre. My 395xp went 'pop'! Dangerous stuff! Hahaha! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  8. Nice. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  9. Erm, you're obviously not and this is not the correct place to start a bun fight. Anyway, well done last year Chris. Onwards and upwards. 👍 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. It's dark. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  11. What he said but without the computer stuff. Keep it simple and well within the gear and tree limits and you'll be fine. I have found that unless the job is just perfect for speed lining, it's a massive hassle. When it's perfect though, it's awesome! Make sure that your groundies understand what the aim is though otherwise they'll act like retarded slugs. Establish a simple communication system as well because they could be 200m away from you.
  12. Doesn't matter. The Forst is a million pounds better than a Timberwolf. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  13. I have a home made one on my 395xp. It makes a massive difference up a tree! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. Turns out that it's all good actually. No different to all parts for a chipper, horribly overpriced. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. Bumping this. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. Harkie Smock has worked very well for me. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  17. You're bang on and the invoiced labour fee is fair. I was just concerned that an inordinate amount if profit had been 'hidden' in the parts cost. I'd be utterly amazed if that is the case with this mechanic but felt like asking the question on here. The more I think about it, the more I'm sure it's all good. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. Thanks Treequip. I did consider cleaning it myself but if anything broke/went wrong I'd still be at the starting point. Also, the clock was ticking before work started the next day therefore I took it to the mechanic to fix it. The invoice shows a standard labour rate and £143.10+vat for the solenoid valve and plug. Just seems like a lot of money for something that comes off a factory production line in thousands or millions. Maybe I'm wrong. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  19. It's the solenoid. I just feel like I've been charged a LOT so I wondered how much they generally cost. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  20. I tried to buy a 10" PTO chipper from them once. I called 5 or 6 times to try and get an invoice or bank details so that I could pay online then drive over to collect it. A sales company that wouldn't take my money, bonkers! Gave up in the end and bought a Jensen from Redwood. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. Or have a Pro-Tipper fitted. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. Simple question, does anyone know how much a solenoid costs? Just the solenoid, nothing else. It's the one on the valve block on the side of a Jensen chipper. Thanks. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  23. I've bought two chippers from Redwood and always had top service and backup from them. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  24. Get a Pantin. Then consider an SRWP system. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  25. Protos. There, decision made. End of thread. 😂😂 hahaha! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
