  1. I need new chains for my t540XP. What is the difference between these two, apart from price? Also, is the best option for fastest cutting speed? Thanks. Oregon Chain 91VXL 3/8 1.3mm. 2. I bought a Predator 450 last year. Very capable machine and the Multi Tip system is fantastic and cheap. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  3. Price is good. It doesn't have a strop attachment so the strop will have to go on the handle and break the primer bulb off. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  4. I know what you're getting at but a Mog doesn't suit what we do anymore. I hated driving my Mog because it wasn't comfy and I hate Landrovers for the same reason (& a few others) but it seems best suited for us, annoyingly. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  5. I had a Unimog. Sod that again. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  6. Oh no. not a double cab. Sorry.
  7. I'll be looking for one soon……...
  8. I saw a website selling dozens of almost new white 110's. But they're LHD. I didn't notice until now that they are for export only. That's why prices were so good. Boo!
  9. That's the best video I've ever seen. Apart from all those naughty ones, I didn't watch.
  10. Arb is much much tougher. Last month we had two consecutive days without being offered a cup of tea, while we sheltered from the rain!
  11. Nor am I. I hate them. Annoyingly I think it may be the best suited vehicle for my needs. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  12. Best and safest way is to get an experienced freelance climber in to do the job. Watch an learn. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  13. I loved it and I'm still trying to however: There is now a horrible vibration that makes my fingers tingle and its not the chain. The power when cutting over 7" wood has disappeared. The chain is either too loose or too tight, very rarely stays at the right tension. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. I had a LHD Unimog and that was no problem but its high up and pretty good visibility. I haven't driven a Landie for about 20 years but I think I remember poor visibility generally. I just wondered what it would be like to live with. Not as an everyday vehicle. Just drive to the job, drive to tip off, drive back to the yard. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. Great photos. Now it all becomes clear. These would be really useful for me with rigging redirects and verticle speed line.
  16. Does anyone have experience using a left hand drive Landrover? Is it a nightmare or is visibility ok? Thanks
  17. 11mm rope is too thin for DdRT climbing. It's just hard work to grip it. 11.7 makes all the difference. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. So I can see the advantages of these rings but does it also mean that you must not let ropes run fast to avoid heat build up? This would be a disadvantage in some cases. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  19. No u can't.
  20. That's weird, last week Jonny gave me your address for the same reason. Said you need about 40 cubic m. Get the kettle on, I'm half an hour away. 😂😂😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. Don't worry about it. As tree surgeons we all have the ability to control fear an emotions to a much higher level than most other people. There are limits though and this limit can be influenced by all sorts of factors You bottled it, everyone stayed safe, no big deal IMO. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. I once had a woman threaten me with legal action if I didn't have her old BMW m5 valeted because sawdust had blown over my clients house and onto her car. While I stood looking at the slight sprinkling she yelled at me "if you had a car of this calibre you would be annoyed!" I replied that "I actually have a much more expensive car than that you stupid council estate snob!" And I walked off. Never heard a thing. Haha! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  23. I just looked at the RR video. Now it all makes perfect sense. Looks like it will perform as smooth as a ZigZag but for single line. Brilliant! I want one I want one!
  24. Sorry Kevin. I didn't mean that you have copied the OAR, they are obviously different but are bound to have similarities due to the application. I think I would get one right now, if it wasn't for a few unexpected repair bills, damn it! All the best.
