  2. My old team mate had Stilton with Christmas cake last year, we all thought he was mad, maybe he was onto a winner after all. I'll have to give it a go. Hopefully I'll be passing hartington cheese shop next week, might try it with the blue Cheshire I've got in the fridge as well. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Ive had a pair of hunter balmorals for nearly 3 years and walked at least 3 miles every day in them, with the dogs. They've got a couple of splits in them now tho, very comfy & warm. Probably going to get them same again. Thought about Muck boots but don't reckon I'd be able to tuck my cs trousers in them.
  9. Try these, jaqoutdoors.co.uk Been doing our kits at work for years, good guys.
  10. I'm going on the Saturday , got my ticket today! Hoping for some bargains.
  11. Try Ian Morgan Arb near Cannock Chase or Tim Kirk Forestry in Holmfirth. I've done courses at both and can recommend them both.
  12. You could try http://www.mercastontreecompany.com near derby
  13. I would be but it's just too far, I'm sure someone will have it off you tho.
  14. We had one with a boom lift on it at work a few years back for a week or so while the landrover MEWP was being serviced(on hire from Risehire) The lift was pretty useless for tree work but the truck was pretty good, quick on the road 50+, and good offroad, similar set up to a mog, hi-lo box with front and rear diff locks.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
