  1. 7 x 60foot
  2. I had tarps with me but the homeowner said not to bother as all the brash is going to be burned by the gardeners there anyway... The lawn is nearly all moss and they're renovating it in the spring aswel.
  3. When I was done the homeowner asked me to quote on taking down 760foot leylandii from the back garden so I went back on Friday to do that then when that was done she asked if I could remove 2 lawson cypress from the front garden so going back on Monday for that and I have also bee asked by the neighbours on both sides of the property for tree work. So for my £1.20 ebay purchase its ended me up with 3 reasonably lucrative jobs.... (I never actually paid the £1.20 either )
  4. Ended up with 15 decent boards, all cut to 2 inch thick and just over 8foot long
  5. All the brash is scattered all over the lawn, the house owner said only bother with the bits that are any good to me and that their gardeners will clear up what's left next week. Endless supply of tea and biscuits throughout the day aswell.
  6. Went to mill it Wednesday and was an ok bit of timber.
  7. Was just browsing ebay the other week and came across this fallen blue cedar, normally laugh to myself ad ads like that thinking the sellers trying it on to get expensive work done for free or get paid for the "valuable" firewood they have strewn across their lawn.. For some odd reason I thought I may aswell have a go on it anyway for milling as it looked ok and wasn't too far. Got it for £1.20
  8. £1.20 just paid that for a 30"DBH tree on eBay.... (Yes I did buy a fallen tree on ebay) going to go mill it with the Alaskan on tues.... Worth more to me as milled timber and the customer is now asking me for tree work aswell
  9. Thanks, she's a yorkie (full size standard, mot one of those toy thongs) cross Russell Such an odd mix no 2 are ever the same. I've got a small herd of them (12) brilliant little yard dogs.
  10. Mines no good at fetch but she can drive the bedford well...
  11. I have most of the timbers you asked for sat up the yard, am only in Gerrards cross so not too far from you if you'd like to have a rummage through the wood pile.
  12. ash fell over in last nights wind, no one from highways or council to clear it up on Xmas eve and no one to allocate work, sycamore down the road fell on the council office aswel
  13. Pre 90's as the bar has made in west Germany on it. It's had that little use it still has the film over the badges! Bit of fresh fuel and oil and it runs perfect.
  14. Quite often whilst on a domestic job I have the customer come out saying they've got an old saw in their shed, is it any good to you? Usually it's a knackered old b&q relic that's no good to man nor beast but I got a pleasant surprise the other day when I got given this 024...
  15. He was my next door neighbour before he moved to LA, still owns the house and little bit of land but its been derelict and overgrown for many years now....
  16. Whereabouts are you?
  17. No, I want this one though
  18. Didn't go on the road like this but it certainly looked funny....
  19. They're pig food....
  20. Not overloaded but the most peculiar load I've had for a while....
  21. Your welcome to have a look at what I have at the yard, think I have some that would be suitable for your needs and I'm not too far from Aylesbury, just down the a413
  22. Got a few milled lengths of oak, am in gerrards cross, south bucks....
  23. At a guess I'd say it was mid 70's, was sold as good working order so for an inexpensive price it seemed like a worthwhile purchase...
  24. Only gone and got another new toy, pick it up at the weekend, really need to quit ebay, I'm sure ill find a use for it.... It's a Davis task force 300 trencher...
  25. something like this would be best...
