  1. Not denying that Jon, just feel that for something that you want for the yard, well it could be too much. You get too much throwback from the beam in enclosed spaces sometimes.
  2. This is an argument you will often come across. I would say though, that you do have a duty to manage the trees you have on your land. If you don't, the law does allow the people to whom your trees are causing a nuisance to carry out pruning. Your only recourse may be if, they pruned beyond the boundry, so they cut the tree on your side of the fenceline= Criminal damage. Pruned the trees and did not offer you the cuttings=theft. Think these are right, someone may be along shortly to correct me. Regardless, I can't see any way that tree is ever going to look good again.
  3. A whole slab of Black Golds, which I must have bought at some stage. A (big) bag of weed, which I absolutely did not. No one who'd worked for me in the recent past was willing to admit to it either, I can only assume the wacky baccy fairy left it.
  4. That is indeed a beast of a torch. Might be a bit much for round the yard though Jon.
  5. Got to say, I agree with Mountain man. That thing is never going to be anything but fugly now. Take it down and replant, ideally with something a little less intrusive to surrounding property. Large conifers like this really have no place in relatively small urban gardens (imo).
  6. I got a Fenix HL 50 for Xmas. Very happy with it. Fenix HL50 Headlamp | Heinnie Haynes Highly recommend Heinnie Haynes as well, their service is outstanding.
  7. They all look like bloody hipsters to me.
  8. Oh bloody hell he's gone quiet again. It's no good I'm going to have to get the bowl out. It's just such a shame, we've nearly run out of virgins in the village.
  9. Just so we're clear. It was purple and it looked the nuts?
  10. I was about to resort to the trusty scrying bowl.
  11. I too have been trying to get in touch.

    Need one.

Well maybe not need as such. 0-60 3.4 secs 670kg rear wheel drive, and it makes a lovely sound. [ame] [/ame]
  13. I think he might have been to watch it too. Whilst on the funny fags!

I don't mean to shoot holes in people, it's just the way I see it. Bren Is actually my real name. Stay safe. For you, and those who depend on you.
  15. Not sure about gay being a choice (sorry Woodyguy, may have misread you there). The "nest helpers" theory is certainly common amongst birds. BBC News - The evolutionary puzzle of homosexuality
  16. It's all done by magic.

If you can justify doing with PPE away to your dependents, do it in your birthday suit, Personally, I've never made a cut without PPE and I never will. It's not a question of your own arrogance/self belief/ignorance/whatever excuse you happen to be using today. The only question that matters to me is, how do I provide for my missus and 3 children in the months while the doctors are deciding if they need to amputate or not.
  18. Hope he recovers well. Does raise some questions though.
  19. Now big is your wood? It wouldn't take much of a deviation from the set boundries to get that sort of gain on 100 acres.
