  1. As has been posted already. Without a power source you've had it. Not sure you'll find anything that could withstand the heat and vibration either.
  2. Nice one fella, you're gonna love it. Going to have to start saving your pennies though. There's always another chainsaw that "I just can't do without love".
  3. Maybe the desire to do his tickets will come. Over eager, but doesn't want to do his tickets may suggest a lack of confidence, maybe, if his confidence levels can be raised, he'll feel happier about doing them.
  4. A few mentions of people climbing to show them it is safe. Not really so though is it, you can climb a dangerous tree and get away with it, but it's not the same thing as a safe tree is it.
  5. Both of these statements are true, however, no employer has the right to ask an employee to carry out activities that the employee has deemed dangerous without first conducting a further risk assessment, with all parties being present and having an input. It seems to me that after what has occurred, if there were an accident, the company wouldn't have a leg to stand on. As for the qualified surveyor. Did he climb the tree to do the survey, how experienced is he/she, has he/she shown a disregard for employee safety in the past?
  6. I hate Collared Doves. They do taste good though. Fry the breast and serve with a Shallot, mushroom and brandy cream sauce.
  7. Twas my pleasure Jon.
  8. This might get removed butt.
  9. Yep, pigeons only nest in a month ending in Y. Or H or L or E or T or R.
  10. I don't want to demean your product here, but it doesn't have any parts on it that are spinning at 20m/s, as long as it's strong enough, it's good enough. Or I could (and probably am) wrong.
  11. Or this version! [ame] [/ame]
  12. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: [ame] [/ame]
  13. Got to agree, CE stamp, very tough.
  14. I've got a 346 and a 550 (xp), Just used to the 346 I guess. still reach for it over the 550. Don't really have any justification for it, it's just an old mate who I like spending time with. Snivel, snivel.
  15. Whilst I do have some sympathy with regard to your opinions regarding public sector workers, I do have to say, I know many people who work ridiculous hours working in the Public sector (for no overtime). A mate of mine (and my old boss) regularly puts in a 16 hour day and can't remember what weekends are, all for naff all money even their pensions( which used to be great) are being eroded. Dave Humphries may have some thoughts on what it is to be employed in the public sector in an age of austerity.
  16. My thought was the same. Not sure that one's edible anymore though.
  17. Toot Toot!
  18. 346xp, 372xp, 395xp.
  19. Countyside jobs service. http://www.countryside-jobs.com/Jobs/index.htm
  20. Does anyone have a link for a podcast/download. I can't find one anywhere.
  21. I can see the whole David and Ruth thing going Pete Tong personally.
  22. You could try the employment section here. A location would help though.
  23. Had a similar problem with a 346xp. Turned out the earth electrode had snapped off the plug and wedged down the side of the piston. Luckily almost no damage at all, think it cost me £7.50ish in parts (new gasket & plug).
  24. Anyone else been listening to this on Radio 4? I'm really enjoying it.
