  5. No Bob not even the owner knew it was there, he planted a tree over the top and the stake was driven down beside it a few years ago but the tree died hence me grinding the stump so he could replant.

  8. Its a pee take that the chap was just going to site in his van reading the Sun for 4 hours when it could have been repaired by him in 10 minutes tops.
  9. Only if it was put in via a trench Rich but im most cases now the are moled.
  10. Well, simple little grinding job today until I cleaned out the hole and gas started to pump out of a gash made buy the grinder . Cleaned round the pipe and bound it up with tape, the owner phoned the gas board and after 20 minutes a chap turned up in a van with a clip board and asked for the company name and my signature . He went back to his van and returned to say he would wait on site until the repair team turned up which should be within 4 hours . The depth of the pipe was 175mm and im sure it should be 600mm, he said I'll receive a bill but saw me take picture and video and said to keep them and appeal. Your thoughts please

  14. Well I have taken stump grinders through houses and over walls but this was the first time I have used one from a scaffolding tower. The job was to grind 7 wrc stumps below ground level the trouble was they were on a steep bank with a vertical drop, working out a plan of attack took longer the the actual job did but Ill know for next time.

It was 1928 Ronnie and the war had just ended so you had a chinese to celibrate, after trying cream of someyoungeguy you felt ill and chucked the rest out of the window of your caravan for the donkey to eat, only the noodles went super sonic and landed in the crotch of a beech, its been there ever since
  19. First play with the Alaskan mill, dead easy to set up and nowhere near as hard work as I'd been led to belive.
  20. A pop dismantle on windy wednesday, 60 mph gusts helped the limbs clear the phone lines and shrubs.

  22. With limbs that small, working at waist height,no debris or limbs face down in the dirt and running the saw up the bark he could hardly go wrong.
