  2. I think some shooting people change how they feel about stuff like that as they get older, I know I certainly have, and a few people I know have as well.

I found this little lad under the trucks in the yard. years ago i

Would have shot him could not bring myself to do it.

  3. I had van following me the other day with 3 guys in it. I was not sure they where following me at first so I drove round in circles & they were still there in my mirror! so I pulled over and took there number plate. Next day they were sniffing about again called the police & they said they would note it! After getting done last year Ive been taking notes of any odd looking vans/people that are hanging about.

  4. I found on a chipper a while back that it was not going that far & it was due to the chute being out of line and the chip was hitting the edge of the entry point of the chute & slowing it down & some times blocking it.

  5. 90% of my work is on building sites and been doing it for about 8 years.

My Guys have the green card & I hold the black card.

The green card costs £17 for the test & £32 for the card. Most of the sites I work on you have to have the card but this does depend on who your working for (CDM rules) Some times if you are working for the main client (e.g Tesco) you will not need it but if your working for the building contractor (the one working for Tesco) you will need it.

Some places do hold back 20% but Ive never had this happen to me! Also the 5% maybe 10% is for retention and this should only be held if you have supplied goods and installed them e.g. planting fencing build a brick wall etc... once again I never had this.

I've found the payment terms are around 30-60 days some maybe 90 which is a pain in the back side

  6. I am not trying to knock you David I am trying to HELP YOU! I am not going to get into a slagging match with you because I really don't have the time! I was trying to point out that you did not help yourself & that Ben is not only person to help you because there is a lot of people trying to help you! When I said 30min late I was benign kind I drove all over Swaffham looking for you!!

TBH I could not give a monkeys what you have said to other people!

Yes you did work hard on the day BUT that does not make up for MY time that I LOST WAITING FOR YOU!

  7. Yes do have buses byt last one out of lynn is 4pm so even a 9to5 job how am i getting home? Im not trying to put obstacles in the way i am trying to get into. The world of trees and person so far whos gave me a chance is stihlben i no i messed up once. But i had my reasons

David how can you say stihlben was the only person to give you a chance I DID!

Can i remind you that the first day you were 30min + late and then I gave you a 2nd chance & you did not turn up!!

Lots of people on here are trying to help you (by giving advice).

You need to wake up and smell the coffee because this is not going to happen while you don't have any cash in your pocket & transport. They are building a new Tesco & the end of your road get a job there to pay for your driving licence then go & try to get a job with CGM etc..

But then I have given you this advice already & you have not done it.

I have given you 2 chances now & given you advice there are not many people around that get that from me!

  8. I would go for a side & cook it over water lay a rack inside a large tray then stick a ltr of cider bay leafs then lay the pig on the tray score the pigs skin (grids) see above picture then cover in cider then rub in loads of salt cover with tin foil. then fill the tray with water cook on full wack for 2 hrs top up with water ( don't let water run low) cook for another few hrs remove tin foil turn heat back up to crackle the skin :)

  10. I run a hog roast company but we don't do it over wood because it's expensive! We cook ours for 8min per kg plus two hours. Just make sure it's cooked!! Get a probe you need to test 3 locations on the pig and you need to get the temp to 72c & the probe needs to stay in the pig for 2 min
