  1. 31s good! is that mixed driving and towing? Have you had any problems with yours?

Yep mixed driving & towing the chipper. The only problem I had was with the fuel filter but this was a recall & did it for free. I've done 45k miles now & it has not missed a beat! I had a service done last week oil, filter etc.. & the front pads done for £190!

  2. Very nice Eddie, is the hilux the 3.0? Auto? How'd you rate it?

Yer its the 3.0 manual great truck properly the best Ive had. does about 31 mpg (425 miles to a tank) pulls really well very quick for a truck. Loads of room in the truck & the back seats. Does not know the chipper is on the back & will pull over 2 ton nicely :thumbup1:

  4. If it's a direct debit you can stop the payment! If you paid by card & they are taking the payment that way every month all you have to do is cancel that card & order a new one. Your bank should stop any payments going out of your account. The only problem is if you stop making the payments they might get a debt collector after you :-(

  5. Looks like a Caterham 7 to me ( road sport) depends on age it will be a ford cross flow but does not look that old so maybe a duratec engine. They stick 2 ltr engine in them @ about 260bhp (the r500 ) will do 0-62 in about 2.5sec!!!

  8. I've had one for a while now 185hrs

    A few problems:

Drive link for the top roller snapped within 20hrs- redwood came next day & fixed it.

Fuses kept blowing redwood came out & fixed it after a few calls.

A problem with the lights now fixed.

As said before throttle leaver moves & drops revs but after talking to redwood I stuck another 13mm bolt on it and has now solved the problem.

But the biggest problem is the feed rollers jam up with crap really quickly & I have to clean it out twice a day some times.

Redwood say they have a fix for

This but they have not been out to sort it yet. (4 months now)

Apart from the very small problems it's is one of the best 6inch chippers I have ever used & I would say I have owned or used all of them. If I needed to buy another chipper it would be a forst st6!!!

  10. I was with trust when I had to make a claim the only problem i had, was I had not told them that I had brought new saws. So they would not pay out on them even thou I had receipts and pictures of them. Make sure you keep your machine list up to date. Apart from that its was all sorted out within 2 weeks & fairly painless.
