  1. I did mine with Arbrisk they were £300 cheaper than trust even thou it was the same insurance company?? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. I was with trust when I had to make a claim the only problem i had, was I had not told them that I had brought new saws. So they would not pay out on them even thou I had receipts and pictures of them. Make sure you keep your machine list up to date. Apart from that its was all sorted out within 2 weeks & fairly painless.
  3. Skid steer hire (bob cat mulcher) but very expensive Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Do they not do credit card cheques any more? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  8. I found this little lad under the trucks in the yard. years ago i Would have shot him could not bring myself to do it. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. I had van following me the other day with 3 guys in it. I was not sure they where following me at first so I drove round in circles & they were still there in my mirror! so I pulled over and took there number plate. Next day they were sniffing about again called the police & they said they would note it! After getting done last year Ive been taking notes of any odd looking vans/people that are hanging about.
  10. I found on a chipper a while back that it was not going that far & it was due to the chute being out of line and the chip was hitting the edge of the entry point of the chute & slowing it down & some times blocking it.
  11. You could try Arbrisk they did mine. Also when I spoke to NFU they would not insure a quad unless I was a customer already.
  12. David lives on a estate burning might not be the best option. £100 & I will bring my mog over & you can load as much crap on on it as you like! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. 90% of my work is on building sites and been doing it for about 8 years. My Guys have the green card & I hold the black card. The green card costs £17 for the test & £32 for the card. Most of the sites I work on you have to have the card but this does depend on who your working for (CDM rules) Some times if you are working for the main client (e.g Tesco) you will not need it but if your working for the building contractor (the one working for Tesco) you will need it. Some places do hold back 20% but Ive never had this happen to me! Also the 5% maybe 10% is for retention and this should only be held if you have supplied goods and installed them e.g. planting fencing build a brick wall etc... once again I never had this. I've found the payment terms are around 30-60 days some maybe 90 which is a pain in the back side
  14. I am not trying to knock you David I am trying to HELP YOU! I am not going to get into a slagging match with you because I really don't have the time! I was trying to point out that you did not help yourself & that Ben is not only person to help you because there is a lot of people trying to help you! When I said 30min late I was benign kind I drove all over Swaffham looking for you!! TBH I could not give a monkeys what you have said to other people! Yes you did work hard on the day BUT that does not make up for MY time that I LOST WAITING FOR YOU!
  15. David how can you say stihlben was the only person to give you a chance I DID! Can i remind you that the first day you were 30min + late and then I gave you a 2nd chance & you did not turn up!! Lots of people on here are trying to help you (by giving advice). You need to wake up and smell the coffee because this is not going to happen while you don't have any cash in your pocket & transport. They are building a new Tesco & the end of your road get a job there to pay for your driving licence then go & try to get a job with CGM etc.. But then I have given you this advice already & you have not done it. I have given you 2 chances now & given you advice there are not many people around that get that from me!
  16. Hi David, Thought you lived in Swaffham? this is a town with good bus routes. I am not trying to put a downer on you but you keep putting obstacles in your way. 1 | 11 : konectbus
  17. Hi David, Like I've said to you a few times you really need to try & get some time on the ground working for some one (full time) trying to set up on your own is really hard & doubly hard with no money Did you give CGM a call as they have some jobs going which would be really good for you! I know the money is not great but it is a start! Current Vacancies | CGM Landscapes
