Great advice my first mog had a pto but no pickup hitch & links. The mog was a bit rough as well but it was cheap! I spent a lot doing it up & by the time I had done that I could have bought a real nice mog! I've just seen it for sale on Vos web site.

That had been my thoughts as well but I think they would struggle to shift it in the uk due to this & there not being any on the 2nd hand market. I hope it turns up!

It's a timber dragon Atkinson Vos build them. I've sold the trailer now to Ian Flatters look on the today's job thread & there are some better pictures

YES the ST6 Has this problem to it is a real pain. Forst tell me they have come up with a fix but they still have not returned my calls to book it in to get fixed only been waiting over 6 months :town: The good thing with the ST6 is it has a small bar looks like a small felling bar that you slot into the top roller and it helps with opening the rollers, then you screw in a bolt & it hold it open.

Ok so I’ve been looking around for a pair of non-protective climbing boots for a while now and have read all the reviews but I was still unsure of the ones to get. Then I came across the Arbortec Ascent Pro. I’ve only had them a short while and have done a few climbs in them. When I first slipped them on they felt really light weight & comfortable. You can feel the high quality of the boot. The boot is in the lime green that you would see on most of Arbortec’s kit. I wore them around the office for the day & it was a real pleasure to have them on. I just hoped they were going to be a good climbing boot. On my first climb they definitely provided me with what I wanted from a climbing boot - plenty of grip from the Vibram sole, some flex in the boot but still providing ample support where you need it due to robust reinforced Italian leather. The laces are the full length of the boot & don't have any bits of metal protruding from the boot helping to stop any snagging. I am going to use them when out surveying as well, as they seem to be very durable & have a Breathe Dry waterproof/ breathable membrane to help keep my feet dry! A cracking pair of boots, I would highly recommend them.

I had one it was really nice to drive but had a few issues with it. First the pump for the air suspension went. Then the air bags went in the suspension this happened 3 times! When you raise the suspension to go off rd it gets covered in crap then you lower it and it rips the air bag! Had it changed to springs. Then the gear box went :-( but I did like driving it! I used to cut trees back for BT. They are not very proactive but are reactive so if the trees have knock the line out they will come & fix it but if it is still working they will leave it till the line fails or they are replacing the cable. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Steve your spot on! Ok the machine is not the best for flail work but I was ALOT quicker than brush cutter & a lot cheaper that a bobcat & mulcher or a tractor & sidearm also when we were done we could rake up the rubbish & use the same tool to load it. I've used loads of different bits of kit to make life easier & quicker & I think the small diggers are one of the most useful machines! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
