  13. I had a look at them after we had finished chipping up, and to be fair they were pretty much fine. Im sure it probably took that lovely razor sharp edge off them but still chipping well!
  14. As a rock climber myself, i take a lot of inspiration from him!
  15. It didnt take long to be fair, it was all on the surface of the chip - after the sickening metalic sound of it pinging through, I switched the chipper off pretty quick! Just glad it didn't take someones eye out!

    Hi guys

Well done on quals so far - Good luck getting your 39 and hopefully the job! Welcome
  20. We rescued a toad whilst stumpgrinding today Paul, he was sat minding his own business in the hollow section of a rotten Apple we felled and looked very happy to be put under a pile of leaves out the way!! How are you finding the Vermeer SC252 stumper? Looks a beast!
  21. I know exactly what your saying!! Mind you, on her suggestion we are booked in to get married in a woodland in the new forest - Great venue! However my suggestion of a chainsaw guard of honour went down like a lead balloon - gutted!
  22. Ive been approached 4 times in the last month. Unless you tell them where to go from the off, they wont leave you alone. I've heard some horror stories of people thinking there getting a bargain... get suckered in and then they open their cash purchase to find a box of rocks. I won't express my opinion on the subject as it WILL land me in trouble with the mods!!
  23. Mrs yaffle (to be) is far from trained! im currently up to my ears in wedding planning! NOT MY BAG!!!
  24. I must say, your love of photography rubbed off on me silky! i get ear ache all the time now for taking so many pics! good stuff mate!
  25. This thread has had me and the old man in stiches!!! I know its very naughty but i do tend to agree with gensetsteve... smooth round corners, sensible speed, leaving bigger gaps, careful braking. Q the critisism! P.S I do not partake in the overloading of vehicles ever, ever... nor do i condone such actions
