  2. Wow, very impressive... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Ouch. That could've been a lot worse! Now I haven't climbed much in a while, but with the faff of setting up all that rigging I reckon cut and chucking smaller bits into the garden would've been pretty damn quick and easy anyway... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app

  10. I think there are apps that can do it in a google earth format. Not sure where you'd go from there though. I use pt mapper, where you can overlay to google earth on a computer (or with a tablet on the fly maybe?), or you could download the image as a scaled raster map to a handheld gps device - I tried it once but an os map/topo is so much easier to read on site... 11. Excellent, especially the dude with a violin. Reminds me of Fingathing, saw them live about 10 years ago and it still stands out as a great musical memory! Anyone know if they're still gigging? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. The ntm looks interesting. I wonder how accurate it is, and how useful it would be in practice. .. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Could also be symptomatic of Armillaria... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. All good points. And as said, hats off to the guy and gal. I was just surprised I guess that in a situation where parts, chains and fuel etc are not at all easy to come by, and where you have very limited funds, that they weren't more efficient in its use. Perhaps they have their reasons, perhaps they just don't know any better? Either way, they're living their dream Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Hats off to the guy, he obviously has a lot of skills snd determination, but the chainsaw use was cringeworthy! If civilisation is miles away and you have no money, wouldn't you try and preserve the life in your chain? And what's wrong with leaving a stump, he's just got rootplates in the air and holes in the ground now! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. No problems logging on. I do seem to have to change password etc once a month as everyone in my address book gets spam from me, and I get a shed load of undelivered mail messages. I'm led to believe all I can do to stop it is change my email address, what a pain! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Already been penalised for not accepting an upgrade with them! I said id think about, then my next bill after the two year £25 pm contract ended was fifty quid! No warning when I spoke to them, they said I could I keep my existing phone and be on a rolling £20 pm contract if I didn't want to upgrade. Gits... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. What does that mean?! Im in essex if it matters. Ive got a new ee phone (moving away from tmobile) and am keeping the number. I haven't put the new sim in the ee phone yet as I still have a couple of weeks to go on my tmobile contract - should I wait? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app

    Dyson repair...

A Henry would remind me of school, I'd get a Miele but I'm a tight wad. Fix/repair is all I'll do, or I'll get the garden broom in!
  20. ...motor is buggered, very noisy, sparking and smelling burnt. Do I try replacement brushes first for a fiver, or shell out 50 quid for a whole new motor? Meanwhile the cat fur is taking over the carpet... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Excellent Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Oh. Has it actually been accepted and approved by the LA? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. The report should say to which drawing it relates to, and the reference numbers should match. Does it seem right that t1 in the report is tt1 on the plan etc? Could be a software quirk... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. Just wanted to say thanks to Alan Webster for covering this job for me. He supplied me with a very well laid out, professional h&s report at short notice. Even though he's based Pembrokeshire and the job was in London! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Certainly made me think. http://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/the-universe-is-scary?s=mobile Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
