  1. How long did it takes others to get used to decending, i find my self jerking a little sometimes.
  2. Does it just hook onto the alternator like the tdi's if so just get any old one that fits in and wire it up

  4. Need to have a good play around on it really, but made the climb a lot nicer
  5. 2 with a short sling, mainly because i was on my short rope which doesn't have a spiced eye on it, whys that?
  6. Took down 2 storm damaged trees, tried it in the house the night b4, love how easy it is to go up the tree now,but still getting used to decending

How do you go about being registered with the council for tree work so you get called out when there are trees down on the road? Just after getting called out by a customer who spoke to the police when the road by there house was closed, they said all the tree surgery companies were busy for the next 2 hours.

  19. Was at work today when i got a call saying that a tree had come down over there drive and was closing the road with the police there. There one of my customers that i do a few days a year for, and i dropped what i was doing and got it all cleared up off the road and off the drive. Have to go back on friday to clear up the remaining bits on the property but question is what do i charge for today? 20mins of driving and 40mins for to clear it all off the road and drive. Advice appreciated, what would you charge for the hour
  20. Hmm, for some reason i don't think it will be going back, Might be getting sold, already have 2 others which cost £120 to service
  21. Just got are one serviced last week by Caffins in Lewis, £600
  22. Was a last min thing, i arranged the price then the night before called and said that he wasn't going to get them to delivery and that i could pick it up in the morning, but hey ho all was settled
  23. it was him asking me to use his trailer, basicle said I've got a stump grinder for you to use but i want you to pick it up. Exspected me to do the running around for free
