  1. I'm all for pushing whatever boundary rocks your world, but that guy dangling made me go all green around me gills. .
  2. Great Shots OM. Like your style my man. The third one above is a Classic  How do you find that eye protection? Do they steam up? Are they on elastic? I guess your wearing plugs, how do you find them as opposed to muffs? Cheers David .
  3. Can't remember if you have ever said whether or not you had created any in the past, John. If not, maybe you could have created one on a smaller stem (5 min job) and then talked the client in to the aesthetical differences between the two types of finish. And then speced for the rest at a later date, adding them to a portfolio for future clients to see. Could have been a loss leader. Even if this client didn't like what you could have created, you could have always re-flushed the coronet. No real loss of time or effort. .
  4. Monsieur Charrier sure has one hell of a fertile imagination, but he can sure pen a good tale. Enjoyed Banco immensly :icon14:
  5. I have to say it, were Coronets not discussed or thought of ? Ideal situation IMO. You're probably about to post the coro pics next aren't ya John
  6. Yawn Yawn, more coros. When will the senseless vandalism cease. Some of my colleagues are starting to compare my obssession/madness with the infamous...................... Colonel Walter E. Kurtz
  7. Are they for the nasty in the last photo; or me new Avatar picky?
  8. They're Back Well, they weren't exactly going away now were they. There were clouds of the little bleeders all over today. Third pic is the little bu@@ers at it. The last shot I have no idea what it is; looks like the Leaf Minor on Steroids :scared:
  9. Good shots J. Always liked that split Hornbeam pollard in the second picture. There must be a well worn depression on the ground where you have taken that shot, as thousands of people have probably done the same.
  10. Lmbo  You can almost feel the furious anger that eminates through the vdu when Mr Huck reads the M word. I reckon the ambient temperature of the North West must rise a few degrees.
  11. Looks like lightning to me. Couldn't see the top of the trunk, probably was a coro hidding somewhere up there. Got to come down asap imo.
  12. Well done to you fella Keep it up, whats next Cs 47. I know Skyhucks keen to get his, maybe you could pair up and get a discount  Thanks for the info on 41 btw. I'll prep the guys on the team who have their assessments next week.
  13. Saw this Laetiporus driving past today Went back later to take photos. Will contact that LA tommorow and scream at someone to get a rocket up their ar#e and get something done This is next to a childrens activity centre. :scared:
  14. Definately P sqaumosus . Have always find the AIE site a helpful online resource Charlieh. http://www.aie.org.uk/
  15. Found the info on dealing with OPM particularly interesting and helpful. Went over and introduced my self to Tony and Roger Jeffcoate last year at the AA show. Got into dialogue on how they tackle the Catapillars at Kew. They invited us over to have a butchers at their set ups but they never returned my e-mails to firm up a date. Never mind; seen it on telly now.
  16. Thought the workshop was us Arbies Church, where we're to be found worshiping at the alter of all things Woody. Where else would you be on a Sunday morning. Thanks for the pic Steve BTW, your strimmers shaft needs a good cleaning
  17. As an observation, I for one can see great merit in the continued attendances at Mosques, Temples and Sinagogues and the way this has a possitive effect in terms of the community spirit that these associated reigions posses. As opposed to the state of the C O E, which continues to have diminishing figures for church attendance. Rightly or not, this has a serious affect on us all as a community, as we do not know our neighbours. IMO, this is at the very root of all that is wrong in society today. No respect for elders, property etc ..........................................
  18. Have you got any pics of the above vt set up Steve?
  19. I believe the world would be a far richer place, if which ever religious persuasion someone adopts; it is one made out of the egotistical honesty and freedom which can only be made whilst as an adult, and not due to family or societies doctrination/brainwashing of the purity and weakness of the childish mind.
  20. Hadn't seen anyone configure that before, is the hitch tied to/or tied free on the other side of the becket. Is it just a stopper knot? Can't really tell from the ISC pictures.
