  1. Have tried them, wasn't overly impressed when was branded piranha, gave the chains a second chance and I've got one on my 550xp at the moment and it's fine and will buy more. I just don't think they're a better chain than others and the video was a bit misleading Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. Looks a good permanent solution. Any idea where those wheels came from? And do they interfere with the drive linkage that's set behind the wheel? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. I'm a 32/32 in jeans and the medium sip innovations are perfect for me Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. If a stihl 201 earned that description there would be riots in the streets! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. You're not selling it too well! Will stick with a 540 for the time being Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Maybe it's because it's via the arbtalk app I'm using? Who knows! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. A few bolts is all you need, this is my old transit these boards were on there 2 years no problem Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. I think it detracts from the brand. It's one thing to compete on price, another to make out it's far superior to well established products that we all know perform well on the basis of this video Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. Still shows at 404 but found the right page via putting the part number into google and brings me back to your site show it at £40 plus vat for bar and chain? Sounds a good deal so will be doing that when get the saw Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. I've had two jobs come in this week that we're all about the is it a free quote and sounded like didn't want to spend much so had them send photos for a ballpark quote before I came out, never heard any more after telling them so saves my time and petrol! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Saying page not found rob, interested in finding out the price as may get one of these bars when I get my 2511 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Would agree with that. I don't for a minute believe these chains cut any faster than Oregon or stihl having used them Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. How do you find the 150 to the echo? I preferred the echo to the 540 on most jobs, never used a 150 though Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Yeah know what you're saying, you'd think other manufacturers would copy that idea. Not end of the world though I used a biner on the saw attachment and hook the saw on to the harness using that Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Was my home contents, it said on the policy I was covered for 2k work tools, until you claim and are told that's just for computers [emoji35] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. Yup and looks like arbtalk says this every year too! Almost to the day... Winter weather forecast http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=91919 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  18. Just found this, you can see where they've made it fatter Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. That's undoubtedly where the money is with machinery sales, i don't think any dealer makes much from selling the stuff unless they sell ALOT! We keep hearing about save the high street and pay the extra so the local shop stays there. Don't get it myself, why pay more for something a supermarket can supply so that 2-3 people can keep working there. Equally with dealers I needed a worm screw for a saw last week, phoned the nearest place, no we don't keep many parts in stock we can order it and that'll be £5 plus vat next week sometime. Phoned skyland it's on my doormat the next morning for half the price (ignoring p and p as ordered some other bits while was at it) If they want to survive they need to up their game Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. No problem with them charging what they need to make a living but when you've spent thousands in there and are in need would price matching break the bank? Wouldn't ask for under cost but at that time I'd lost 2k in tools and everything else I had to buy from eBay as insurance wouldn't pay out and had a 2 month old baby. That dealer has lost out since as was a bit of a drive but I go elsewhere now as I said unless I'm local and it's convenient Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Some dealers just won't help. When I got robbed a couple of years ago I needed a new climbing saw pretty quick to keep working so asked my regular dealer to match skyland price on a 540xp and he wouldn't budge a penny (about £70 difference at the time) despite that fact I'd bought my last one there at his full price and been in there buying some bits for a combi system the day before which also got stolen. Being loyal goes both ways so I just go online or wherever is nearest now Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Yeah the fibreglass one Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. Nope. Not in this game, been wondering the same thing, yesterday was thinking I've pretty much got every tool needed to do tree work now from hedgecutters to saws to chipper to stump grinder, then get to the job and realise an extension to my combi system would let me do the sides of a reduction I was doing way faster than limb walking so off I go to the nearest dealer and spend another £80 on a shaft! 24. As long as you've got the tools you can do nearly all the work to them yourself Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
