  1. Oi Johnson, get over to the today's news thread, I could do with a row after the day I've had.
  2. Have you checked your reg against the MoT website?, I'm told by a mate his motor is due this month, it's now been updated, it's now due in October.
  3. I tell you what, Les, if I had the skill, which I don't, I'd be over your way for a few weeks just for the crack... and the right money...
  4. Teapot, Kettle, and Black Arse spring to mind.
  5. Right, shut it!, I've a phone call to make.
  6. Wait til you get hold of him... he'll be punch drunk...
  7. Feck me, not literally... you've been away from home 3-4 weeks haven't you?
  8. Wha.. I presume you are being paid?
  9. You on the rig now trigger?
  10. I think the most painful part of that job would be being in Wales...
  11. Nice offer, but I've never used a chainsaw mill, Les. What about Roughy?
  12. No Les, only got a homeowner saw now, no need for anything else. Why ya ask?
  13. I can't remember either, I've had a few Transit vans/tippers over the years, I can't remember priming a fuel filter. That said, my memory isn't the best in the world... by any stretch. back to the picture above, it smells more like Turps than Diesel, I'm not jesting this time... having drank them both...
  14. Boris Johnson has been admitted to hospital for further test on Coronavirus... I don't like him, but I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
  15. Only just the right side of the wall...
  16. I'll just add to this, just had a look, I can get tested, just short of £400 plus a trip down the smoke for a day. I think I'll give that a miss now I'm back on my feet, and out working.
  17. Don't know, can't get tested. I had some symptoms of the virus. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy
  18. Too right, had a BBQ in the field this afternoon, good time had by a few of us, I recon no one got within four yards of me, I'm sure Jeff who was doing the cooking could have infected me, I'll take me chance. Like I do when someone walks past me in the isle at the supermarket.
  19. Well done, Bullman, a bit of sense at last. Fancy a pint down the local on Friday?
  20. If there should be Les, there isn't one on mine. I thought that was idea of brimming the filter, to do away with the need for priming?
  21. I know about filling the filter to the brim, but there is no primer as far as I know. I've always just cracked one of the injectors. Where is the primer on the 2L DI?
  22. Yeah, my mate used to own the factors before he sold out to EU, not The EU, another countrywide factors, he is still the local depot manager, but not able to nip over and get parts for people like he used to.
  23. Unfortunately not, good offer though, thanks.
  24. Mixture of water and sludge, I've washed it out with clean diesel the best I can and put it back on until I can get a new one in the morning. Started first time no trouble.
  25. Just taken the diesel filter off, this is what came out of it. Guess what, nowhere open to get a new filter until tomorrow.
