  1. Nice to know you've still got a caring bone in your body, Kev.
  2. Excellent rant, morning Mick.
  3. Not bothered, only went Friday evening, and Sunday afternoon these days. Best part of 4 quid a pint is an expensive hobby.
  4. Not bad, but not flying, had a week n half on Bluewater shopping centre just back, got a good few quid, but no great shakes going on here.
  5. Nah, Suffolk Les, getting close to the east coast. Surrey is south'ish of the smoke.
  6. I do cover Surrey (it would help if you could spell it correctly if you are trying to be sarcastic) not trees though.
  7. Became known to MI5 in 2019, and not lifted. Who you blaming Donny?
  8. Get off, it's true!, ya think I make these things up? My location is also turned off but I'd guess many people leave it on.
  9. What's this about?, on lphone it's settings>Privacy>health. Is it just me?
  10. Minefield, try to hide, which I can pretty much, but could still be found.
  11. I thought, but could be wrong that Apple had refused to hand over personal data to the authorities?
  12. The government haven't done another u-turn though. fools. Apple and google have had this sewn up for time, I can't imagine why people wouldn't sign up to a tracking scheme that collects and stores all their data. I'm not sure if they are puddled or they think we are all puddled.
  13. I heard what you said, I didn't understand what you meant. The Labour Party was formed out of unions, how can they be to strong in a party they formed? Or did you mean folk don't like the fact that the unions have a lot of power over the front men they fund?
  14. Unions aren't powerful, in fact they aren't worth a wank in most cases. Said the ex GMB rep.
  15. You've had enough fry ups, ya fat ****
  16. If you want quality, (at a price) contact bimble https://www.bimblesolar.com/ otherwise any cheap panel from the bay with its own built in regulater will do the job.
  17. Curtilage: your boundary. You won't do any harm having a go with some rods. If it joins the brook or a surface water sewer is hard to call without seeing it. I'd think with a house built in the 80's it would go to surface water sewer, but that's no guarantee.
  18. If the blockage is within your curtilage and not a shared drain the problem is yours, why anyone would dig soakaways if they are connected to a surface water sewer/brook is beyond me. If you get stuck, shout.
  19. This isn't about folk on Arbtalk, this is about people who chose to go to protest and cause trouble, it's not what protesting Is about!, I'm sure you, like me, will only dance to our own tune.
  20. It's not about becoming compliant, or being a statistic, if my associates behaved in that way, or the way those people behaved in London/Bristol the other weekend I'd be off on the next train. I was at a mates funeral last Friday with lads I've known all my life, they could/would cause chaos if they chose to, if they did I'd still be away. No need to stick around those people imo.
  21. Fair enough, and next to that memorial wasn't the brightest thing to do, but jail?, he wasn't exactly waving his wanga about, inciting public decency? I can only guess that the assault case was a first offence defended by a good brief, never been in trouble before, good job, young family, give him a chance. I'm sure you know where I'm coming from.
  22. I'm not so sure, I'm not defending Banks but most if not all of us have taken a pee in the street, (he's still a t**t in my eyes), not so many of us have committed a serious assault. Some perspective is needed by the courts, not making an example of some fool because they are thick as a brick.
  23. Andrew Banks is from Stanstead, do I think he should have been jailed... no, do I think he's a t**t... yes. There is something wrong with the judiciary when someone gets 14 days for peeing next to a memorial when on the very same day the same magistrate gave someone else a suspended sentence for a serious assault. Just my opinion.
  24. The far right racist thug (Boris Johnsons words) that thought it was ok to take a pee next to the memorial of a murdered police officer was asked in court this morning "why were you in London" he replied "to defend statues" , the magistrate asked "which statues and what do they represent" his reply... wait for it, he didn't know. Moron.
  25. Nope, that's the law.
